Hi Guys and Gals, I get calls asking if I still make the ZG light covers and quarter windows and wanted to say that I do. The price is the same. Please email me at: mclapp5526@gmail.com with any questions and feel free to call anytime at: 816-286-6982 to talk about your car and the light covers and quarter windows. Thanks, Mark Clapp 816-286-6982

Hi G-nose fans, My name is Mark Clapp and I make the headlight covers for the G-nose Zs. The plastic I use will not crack so you don't need the special drill bits for plastic like the ones needed for drilling acrylic (Plexiglas). Any old bit will do fine with no cracking. My patterns were made from OEM light covers. I make them in the OEM size to use under the trim rings. If you don't have the trim rings, I also make them in a smaller radius for a flush fit with the light bucket edges. For these I include L-braces made from the same crystal clear plastic to mount the covers with. From a short distance the L-braces disappear and the covers look like they are floating on the car. I'm asking $189/pair and the shipping is covered with $20 inside the U.S. or $30 to overseas. I also make quarter windows in the same crack-proof plastic and ask $60/pair for those. Please email me with any questions at: mclapp5526@gmail.com and feel free to call anytime at: 816-286-6982. Thanks, Mark Clapp

  4. Hi Guys and Gals, along with the G-nose headlight covers I make, I'm now offering plexi quarter windows for 240/260/280Z cars. The plastic is crack proof and is available in clear and dark tint. I make them in OE size as a slide-in replacement to go into the gaskets in the quarter window frames. I also make them to fully fill the quarter window recess and eliminate the frames such as on competition cars. I'm asking $80/pair and $20 covers the shipping in the U.S. Feel free to email me anytime at: mclapp1@att.net or better yet, call anytime at: 816-286-6982 with any questions. Thanks, Mark Clapp
  5. Hi G-Nosers, I just received some photos of the G-nose headlight covers I make in the OE size fitted under the trim rings. These are on an OE G-nose that the owner is installing on his car soon. I don't carry the rings and if you don't have them, I also make them in a smaller radius for what I call a "flush fit" with the light bucket edges (see the previous post). I'm asking $189 for both sizes.

  7. Hi 72OJ, I tried to make the standard headlight covers but was unsuccessful. They need to be vacuum formed, which I do not do yet. Blue, I do make the headlight covers for the 250 GTO and just about every other replica and vintage racer out there. Please email or have your friend email me at: mclapp1@att.net and I can send pictures of some of my covers fitted to a nice 250 GTO. Thanks, Mark Clapp
  8. Hello, my name is Mark Clapp from Kansas City, Missouri USA. I'm an individual and have been making plexiglass parts like headlight covers and windows for over eight years now. I supply several replica manufacturers like Race Car Replicas and restoration shops that restore original GT40s and Jaguars. I started out making pieces for my GT40 replica. I recently started making the headlight covers for the 240/260/280Z G-nose cars. The plastic I use is shatter proof and will not crack so rocks/road debris are no problem. Also you do not need special drill bits as for acrylic; any old bit will cut fine with no cracking. I also include L-braces cut from the same crystal clear plastic to mount the covers with. From a distance, the L-braces disappear and the covers look like they are floating on the car. I've placed an ad in the Classifieds section and attached pictures of the covers to show the terrific clarity and luster of the plastic. My email address is: mclapp1(at)att(dot)net and feel free to call me anytime at: 816-286-6982. Thanks, Mark Clapp
