Hi All, Does anyone have information on the Nissan factory project of refurbished 1970 240z's? I believe the project was abandoned by Nissan sometime ago but I was wanting to get some information about the project. If anyone has any insight on the project or where I could find information on it, I would greatly appreciate it. I believe that only certain Nissan dealerships where involved in the project. Thanks in advance, DhudsonZ
Thanks to everyone for the input, on the subject. I talked with a guy at "Too intense Restoration" and he said that he heard something about there being a limited edition, I'm not sure of the validity of this. He said I could check by the Vin#. The thing that gets me is that it has the limited edition in the dash itself and has fabric inlayed seats and door panels, I've never seen a Z with inlayed fabric and door panels? Anybody see one like this before? The exterior color is white(i believe its original) with the ginger interior.
Can anyone tell me if Nissan/Datsun made a Limited Edition Zcar on a 78 z? I have a 78 z 2+2 that I just bought and it has a emblem on the dash that says limited edition, it looks authentic. I looked around on the web and can't find any information about a limited edition other than the Black Pearls. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, David
I'm restoring my new founded 78 280z 2+2 in the Dallas area but I'm looking for someone or place to do the outside work, ie painting, priming, rust removal, small body work, etc, I'm not talented in these areas. I can pretty much do the interior stuff by myself. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or could recommend someone or place to do this type of work in the Dallas area? Thanks in advance, David
