  1. the grill is really cool with that spoiler. it's like gaping. i digz.
  2. haha, wtf is that a porsche whale tail?
  3. much respect to tsuchiya. 'style-drift king,' yes, though he is a great driver with a hand in pretty much every kind of racing. i like gronholm betters.
  4. you could always "make it fit" if it doesn't fit initially... hehe

  6. sunroofs are nice on brisk, sunlit winter days, i agree. but in the summer i don't like having the sun all up in muh grill. not pleasant. well, i guess weren't too crazy about the 300ZX's then right? i see a strong resemblance to the 300ZX by the 350Z. it doesn't stray very far from the Z lineage in terms of styling at all. from the beginning the Z has changed far from what it was, and this is just another step forward (or away maybe). besides, retro doesn't work for all car manufacturers and i find chrysler's pt cruiser and ford's new thunderbird to be VERY ugly. if ya want retro, buy vintage.

neither are 240Z's with L28's swapped in...
  8. yeah, its a 240sx with a Z grill. hence the name fair-eighty. as in one eighty sx, or sil-eighty. iono. one comes with the CA18DET and the other with the SR20. lets just call it an RPS13 to make it easy.
  9. yep. marcus gronholm is teh master
  10. control is subjective. with a powerslide, you can 'control' how much the tail goes out usually using throttle input and also how you countersteer. when your car loses traction like that you're never in full control, something can always go wrong. anyways, way i see it, when the back slides out *after* you enter the turn, mostly because you enter either too fast or give it too much throttle, that's a powerslide. drift would require one to lose traction *before* entering the turn. then you keep the loss of traction going throughout the turn. if you're talking about the whole 'style drift' thing where you get as sideways as you can to look as cool as you can, you enter the turn sideways.
  11. alan's a super nice guy. should i ever head out to the uk, you will be hearing from me.
  12. ::sigh:: iono guys. would you rather have the gt-r or the z432r? ::sigh again::
  13. i think the 350Z seats would be pretty heavy and add unecessary weight to the 240Z. especially if they're power seats. weight=bad
  14. that's kind of what i was trying to say. the 350Z's a nice car, and its looks aren't bad. i bet people who think they're ugly would definitely warm up to it if they could afford to buy oneLOL anyways, the V6 in the new Z? sounds so NICE!!! omg someone needs to swap in the VQ35 in a 240Z.
  15. some people drift trucks. z's aren't a big deal mang. i was watching this show on police chases and there was a chase involving a charter bus, and the guy who jacked it went through this sweeping turn and the back slid out as he approached and *almost* kept it going. this guy drifted (some might say powerslid) a bus. upon exiting he kinda went up on the curb but uh, hey, he didn't tip over. that was crazy stuff. he kept on going after that.
