I guess that is what I need help with; is being able to post a URL, as I see that is one of the options here. I agree that 30 attachments is probably out of line but I dont know how to get the information people were asking for in the appropriate format/method on the site. Sorry it took so long to get these posted. Got sick and then the Thanksgiving holiday. Tried to post them yesterday but couldnt get the picts attached. Anyway, battery tray and spare tire areas are solid, interior vinyl and carpet look great maybe replaced at some time(?) it looks so good. Let me know if I can answer any other questions and I will do my best to get you the information. Oh, it appears the car was originally yellow and was oversprayed orange at sometime in the past. Here are the picts. :stupid: Need help with getting the pictures uploaded. I keep getting an error message that says a security token is missing. Is there a better way than just attaching the files. I bought this car 7 1/2 years ago. Drove it into my pole barn and havent had time to get to it yet. Stupidly I found time to completely salvage 2 parts cars (a 73 and 75) so I have all of their parts also, along with other parts. Anyway I have come to the conclusion that if I havent touched it since I've bought it I should probably let someone who will really appreciate it have it. I am attaching some scanned photos that I took when I first bought it. If you want more details/better pictures let me know as I now have a digital camera. Overall it is in pretty decent shape very restorable vehicle I think, battery area is good. Rust around the rear wheels/dog legs dont think super bad though. Missing rear vent covers and some rust holes on back hatch ledge which you might be able to see in one of the photos. PO had put in a 5 speed and signed off on 47,474 miles as the actual mileage when the title was transferred. Can't say if true or not just they signed off on that number. Probably less than 47,500 on odom as all I did was drive it home, park it and remove the battery. Guessing originally a California car by the AAA sticker in the window. PO said it had been parked for 15 years before he started driving it (he was a college kid and needed the money). Asking $2800.00 for it unless you guys say that is giving it away. I had heard that it was brake failure and what caused the flipping was when he hit the gravel trap he turned the car and it bit in. Probably a natural reaction when you are going that fast and see the wall coming. Monte

Was watching the Discovery channel yesterday on Tuna fishing (farming) down by Australia and one of the crew members they featured was shown driving off from his house and to the dock in a Z car. Did anyone else catch the show and know if the owner is a member. Was pretty sure they said his name was Damian (Damo) and I know there was/is? a member with the name Damian but I dont know if he was from Australia. It was a pretty good show about what it takes to get tuna to your table. Monte

I would definately NOT loan my Z to anyone other than a Z owner that I knew and know how they take care of their Z. Unless of course your Z is just another car to you, and then I am not sure why you are a part of this group. Monte

Yeah, I guess that was the show. It sucks he lost his ride, part of the reason I dont watch the show very much is the whole negotiating thing and where they match unequal cars and dont let them run on equal footing. I only saw the two races where the Z won by 4 lengths and 3??, and since I thought it was a two out of three format changed the channel and thought it was so cool to see the Z do that. Monte

I only caught the last few minutes of Pinks last night and saw a highly modified Z car blow away another car. Dont know any of the particulars as to what was done to the car or what year, etc the car was. But it was pretty cool to see the little 'ol Z blow away a muscle car. Did anybody else see the show and know about the car? Monte

How far are you from Yakima? I'm in Michigan but have a sister that lives in Yakima that might be able to take a look for me and hold it until I can either get it or convince her she needs it. She drove my original 72 while I was in Korea for two years while in the service (78 - 80). Had a hard time getting it back when I got back :-).

I agree with Steve. If he somehow gets the Democratic party nomination (which I dont think he will) he will not be elected President.

Zak, If you still have your vented hatch, I would be interested in it. I have a 70 that is in need of a "new" hatch. (missing the vent covers - some rust). I have a good hatch from another vehicle for trade. I am in Kzoo, MI, so Toronto would be a bit of a drive, but I might be able to work something out. Thanks. Monte

I know this is an old thread but... John, is it possible to post parts, etc. needed to be able to make your own rotisserie. I am not lucky enough to have access to old x-ray machines etc. Monte
