I was offered a speedometer with mph and km/h out of a 280Z and as it is nice for me here in Germany to have the actual speed in km/h at hand (expensive pictures here) My question: Can i put a 280 speedometer into a 240 without a problem, or will the reading be wrong, etc??? Best regards.

Vogtland is a well known brand over here in Germany. No Problems with quality whatsoever. Fitment of the springs was superb, for the front shocks you need washers to shim up, as they are a little shorter then the tubes. I had a nice chat with their sales manager, and he told me that this set of springs were really only made for an american company. So you will neither get a material datasheet, nor a certification of conformacy on the part fitted to a Datsun 240-280Z. If that is not a problem (In Germany it can be), it´s the best bang for the buck. So far i only replaced the front shocks and springs with the Stagg/Vogtland combo, but it feels good and handles well. As soon as i have the time, i will go over the rear axle too. Hello, I´m thinking about getting these springs into my `72 240Z, but i want to find out some more details about them and if they suit my driving needs better then the Eibachs. I could get almost any info (beeing a german engineer makes some things easier), but i need the Vogtland Art.-No to identify them. Could anybody provide me the number written on them? It has to start with a "95" and is 6 columns long. Thanks.

Hey fellas. Has anybody of you guys tried to use a car wash (the tunel type) with a bolted on aluminum window louver on his Zcar? Do they last or will they get damaged? Greetings from the other side of the big water.

Hey guys. I have a rather urgent question: TO make the car road-legal, I have to change the handbreak cable on my 1972 Datsun 240Z, but i´m not sure, which part to go with. I could have one from nearby, which comes out of a 260 2+2 or go with something like this: Datsun Fairlady Z 240Z 260z 280z 2SEAT Hand Brake 2 Cables New | eBay My question is: Are they all the same in the 240´s to the 280´s or are there major differences. Can even the 2+2-versions be used, or are they way longer then the ones in the 2-seater? Maybe its just a detail changed, but it seems to me, that there are numerous different Part-No. This does not necessarilly mean, that the part is really different.......Thats why im asking you guys.
