Found an " elephant " oil cap today on the junkyard, pretty cool. Will put it on my on Z. Searched a few hours still not found the 5 speed driveshaft, with the slide piece. If anyone has a lead to one, let me know..

  4. This also works to get the nut off
  5. impact is quick but it destroys the threads eventually.
  6. lol really looks like there is a cap on it ( shiny part ), because the lower part has a different color. Just grab a vice try pulling it of. If you don't have a welder stop messing around and go to a proper tire shop like suggested here above
  7. Isnt that a cap you can remove maybe and there is a torx bolt OR something under it?

Really hard to say. Classics are now worth more in the US strangely. I think it has to do because of all the liberal green deal agenda stuff going on here for 2030. The might even ban driving classics here, who knows ? I hope not.

Picked up the spare L24 today. Casting code 056069 Also for my Friends 67 chevelle project a rare corvette C2 427 high performance casting code GM 3904351 4 bolt main. We checked the head numbers these are from a later 427 but we can het the early high compression cast iron heads from the US that combo it would make stock 435 HP.
  17. I can't tell exactly, never taken one apart, but it looks heavily corroded. Check the motor and gear.

Went back to that yunkyard today. Took some flashlights with us to do a proper search. Did not find the propshaft for the 5 speed yet but did found a low vin 240z complete engine with E88 head. Going to pick that up Offcourse... Not much L24 to be found here in europe. Also a Laurel L24 with E30 head I saw.
