  1. impact is quick but it destroys the threads eventually.
  2. lol really looks like there is a cap on it ( shiny part ), because the lower part has a different color. Just grab a vice try pulling it of. If you don't have a welder stop messing around and go to a proper tire shop like suggested here above
  3. Isnt that a cap you can remove maybe and there is a torx bolt OR something under it?
  4. The brake caliper finally got stuck, I made it loose, but 2 orginal rebuild ones where ordered. I will keep it as a spare, because they will be hard to find in the future.
  5. Air Horn or something lol. I ripped it of throwed in the trash bin.
  6. Starter failed this year. Had it rebuild by a local business who did a great job. Touched up the engine bay a bit also.
  7. Really hard to say. Classics are now worth more in the US strangely. I think it has to do because of all the liberal green deal agenda stuff going on here for 2030. The might even ban driving classics here, who knows ? I hope not.
  8. Spark plug wires are not original. Germany stamp on them. Maybe the distributorcap is.
  9. Make sure to treat the hollow spaces. Rust seems to have taken that z alot
  10. @CanTechZ. I dont know about the spark plug wires if they are oem. Could have been changed in all those years. Will have a look if I see some labels
  11. Picked up the spare L24 today. Casting code 056069 Also for my Friends 67 chevelle project a rare corvette C2 427 high performance casting code GM 3904351 4 bolt main. We checked the head numbers these are from a later 427 but we can het the early high compression cast iron heads from the US that combo it would make stock 435 HP.
  12. I can't tell exactly, never taken one apart, but it looks heavily corroded. Check the motor and gear.
  13. Went back to that yunkyard today. Took some flashlights with us to do a proper search. Did not find the propshaft for the 5 speed yet but did found a low vin 240z complete engine with E88 head. Going to pick that up Offcourse... Not much L24 to be found here in europe. Also a Laurel L24 with E30 head I saw.

  15. Bearings prob failed or something Fun thing in classics is you can take everything apart. Take the time to take it apart. It's an easy fix usually
  16. R180 3.900 refurbished. Took it all apart new seals oem . Rest was in good shape bearings etc.
  17. lol numbers matching, well I guess everybody wants to have a piece of the cake right now, from the z bubble
  18. Here is a video of the Mustang, been fiddling with the carb https://youtube.com/shorts/rdkXvTZ8L8o?feature=share
  19. Took it out of storage juli 2nd. Had been sitting since october... sadly weather remained bad that's why took it out so late. Handbrake cable replaced and a check up and some new engine oil. Ready to go.
  20. contact oxidation could also be. Just grab a multimeter and check for voltage and ground
  21. I bought a ( re-printed by now ) hayness manual. It does list the fs5c71a. I think there is a mistake of the differential ratio part they mixed up the 3.90 with the 3.36 on the four and five speed ? 5 speed should be 3.90
