Got an old venetian blind out of one of my parts cars which was in poor condition. Stripped and powdercoated it and it looks good as new. Waiting on some jdm taillights which will get here in july and it should look sweet.

Did you talk them down or just not buy?

Shannons told me their guide price for 240's was 6 to 10 so I went for 10. Hope I never have to try and replace it.

I had the same valuation dilema last week when insuring. How can you put a replacement price on something so hard to come by.

Not renting but see some classic cars being driven by owners as limos of sorts, guess there's not a lot of bride room in the back seat of a 240k though.

Picked up my new 240 today. Yet to give it a good clean and polish but should look really good when done. Has the navy interior which I am not as big a fan of but this leads to an uncracked dash. Didn't have too long with it today so will clean it off and put up some better pics.

Pick it up Saturday, can't wait to get it home.

Classic Jap day was on in Brisbane today, weather was great but stinking hot. I got in and out early but the 240k's were represented in almost all forms. 1 c110 coupe, 1 c110 sedan and a c210 coupe. Stacks of z's and loads of other Datsuns. Great day out.

I probably won't have it home till later this month. I have a pic from about a year ago.

I pulling into the carpark of my local exhaust shop to tell them how happy I was with my exhaust when I noticed a very tidy 240k coupe parked there. He was in getting a quote on a new system too. Anyway turned out to be a guy by the name of OvenFood. Have seen posts by him somewhere. Said he went to the Jap Day last year but couldn't make it this year. Owner of the exhaust shop was quick to take some photos of the sedan and coupe side by side. I am trying to get hold of them and will put them up.

I bought another 240k sedan yesterday, from memory it is a 1976? Been a while since I saw it. I definitely have a problem. Think it may be cleaner than the one I have, will put up pics as soon as I get it.

I have one already, just need to get parts sorted, clutch and seals etc before doing. I might try to put something on youtube this weekend so you can hear it.
