Hight idle when AC on only
^No kidding... Already cant stop thinking what could of caused the issue or if Im just masking the real problem by adjusting the thing....

Hight idle when AC on only
Yup it ended up being that solenoid which needed to be adjusted. Just wouldn't assume that to be the cause as it was fine before. Hmm...

Hight idle when AC on only
I discontented the line which goes to the fast idle unit (F) and while its disconnected I engaged the AC and ac blew cold with normal idle. Hooked back the line to the unit and engaged AC and of course idle jumped to about 2300rpms... Does this help give a better idea to the source?

Hight idle when AC on only
Well a new problem came up and was not like this when I got the car and cant seem to find any leaks and those that I have found were fixed before. The problem is that when I activate the AC the idle will shoot up to about 2k rpms and stay there. Before it would shoot up but not that much. So select AC shoots to 2k, switch out of it and back to normal and will do this again and again if I continue to switch back and forth into AC and out. Other then that the idle is just fine and car is running good just this high idle when AC is on. Any ideas?

Wont run/switch help
Hi all, I'm having trouble keeping my 75 280z to stay running so I'm attempting to go over the car making sure all the connections and lines are good and found one wire that was just hanging. I believe it to be the Temp switch, not sensor if I'm not mistaken. I've read that even this little guy can cause the car to run poorly or not run at all.... In my case I need to have my foot on the gas to stay on but even so its very rough and dies. If you guys have any tips of a possible cause that would be fantastic. As of now can you fellows point me to this switch, I've found some online but they all look the same and are mostly always listed as the temp sensor not switch. I looked on Rock Auto but again not sure which part number it is. Thanks!

ZG Flares/Wheels
^Thanks, Ill look into those sizes. Just want a wider lower stance using the flares. Nothing extreme. People say to go at least 8" in the back while others say go 10'' which I think may be too much but more importantly what off set should I be aiming for?

ZG Flares/Wheels
Hi all, I was if some of you guys can lend some info on trying to get a better idea on what proper size wheels I should get while having flares installed. I know there are several other factors to consider so just wanted a general idea. As of now the car is stock height and debating if I should lower it to active the look I want but before I do so wanted to figure this wheel offset/size issue first. Rims I would like to be at least 16's and probably a 1'' drop with flares. What would you fellow enthusiasts recommend? Also for the suspension if needed. THANKS!

280Z factory options
Wow very informative guys! Didn't expect such replies, thanks for all that great info! Aside from that what would you more s30 knowledgeable guys suggest a fair price for this car be? Has A/C and all the added features, manual trans and a very clean interior with all the electronic working and as of now only two rust spots that the owner says is minimal... Will see about that but the owner is asking $4.5k...

280Z factory options
Hi all! I have been looking for a while to add a classic Z to my modern Z collection and have came across a clean 75 280Z but saw something odd that I have not seen on other S30's which seems to look or be a soft top with sunroof. Here is a photo of the car. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
