  1. Sean, it's getting closer. I am drooling over those pictures!
  2. Keep up the good work, Sean!
  3. Yea John be positive; it's the best medicine. I had 2 cancers in 08 and 09 back to back and I am still kickin! Had a basal cell carcinoma on my cartilage in my nose which I had 20 proton beam treatments after I had prostate cancer surgery. Thankfully I was on active duty Army at the time so I ended up coming out smelling like a rose. Free medical, 100% VA disability pension, Army retirement, and social security disability pension paid back to 6 months after I was med-evaced out of Iraq. I would probably buy your Z car for my son. but it would take me 2 or 3 months since today I committed to buy a home. Keep me in mind. Get well and remember being positive is your best medicine. No your not psdenno. I would like to avoid them also. I glance at a few but most of them are a waste. As far as I can figure they are not his, but maybe he is the middleman. Some are originated from Zcardepot, but most are different individuals from all over Ebay. Something I noticed is after you have clicked on and want return click to more unread content on classiczcars you are frozen in that window so you have to close that window and open a new window for our site. Pain in the butt. Mike made Bender's a blog site not in the unread content and it worked fine but after a few days; Bender was back with a vengeance. I don't mind companies posting sales on here because I've purchased plenty from our vendors; I don't mind regulars posting ebay car sales or Craiglistings; but Bender is more like a virus, a contaminent to this site. Mike, limit him to one commercial ad entry per day. Save us from this insanity, Mike!
  5. Add me to the list too!

Hello all! I sent an email to Dapper Lighting about filling our needs for LED dash lights in a kit form with a pulse width dimmer included. I haven't seen their reply yet. Maybe others could request them from Ben and Jonathan at Dapper Lighting to show our interest in them. Email: info@dapperlighting.com
  7. I have seen the stamped steel impellers come loose on lots of water pumps however the worst case was on a Cummins diesel powered deuce and a half in Iraq with a bake-lite impeller that was shattered completely and took me 6 hours to fish the pieces from the cooling system. I never understood how Cummins ever released a water pump with that kind of impeller on a combat vehicle.
  8. Check for an Aisin water pump on Ebay for your Z car.

  15. psdenno, March is still there with tankers and mostly USAFRES. I watched many a Buff on final from Norton AFB. I rotated back to Langley from Rhein Main in the fall of 74. The fuel crisis in Germany and America scared the crap outa' me. So I bought a new econocar, a Vega wagon. Boy was I wrong. No gas mileage outa that rust bucket, heck the engine was toast before the payment book. The thing is I saw my first up close look at a Z car in the squadron parking lot, a 260 Z. There are probably still drool marks in that parking lot 42 years later. The thing that still grates me is a new Z car then was less than $1000 bucks more. I was offered half of the Vega's purchase price on a new Z car. I wasn't able to endure a loss like that. not on AF pay, so I suffered for years with the Vega. I bought my first Z car in 84, a 82 280ZX Turbo, held onto that for 10 years. I still smile about those days!
  16. Lol! We'll keep this between us, 'cause the others wouldn't believe it.
  17. Did you ever lose the smile when you think about Clark AB?
  18. How does some one sign on to the car parts manual? I didn't see anywhere to start a sign-up, log- in, yea.
  19. Mike what is the differences between all the microfiche files you listed. I have a 1977 280Z mainly stock, which should I get? Finally I am considering becoming a contributing member. Would this be one of the bennies? Thank you.
  20. Cliff I am not at that point yet I imagine it would be easier to install the headers after the engine is in.
  21. Look them up on HybridZ.com in the vendors forum to see the sale ad. Sale prices are good until 31 March.
  22. Wheee!, as you know I have a lot of experience being military government worker, went from being Viet Nam ere vet to "playing in the sandbox". I am retired now livin' off the government.
  23. Must be a Government worker!
  24. You might check with Sean Dezart in the vender forum here and in HybridZ vender forum. He may be a bit pricey, but sells only stainless steel headers with square ports and a stainless steel 2 1/2 exhaust system. I ordered one complete system from him and it should be here any day now I'll be posting pix after get them. Stainless steel polishes up real shiny.
