Thanks guys. Geeez 10 bucks per jet in US dollars, it's triple the cost in Japan! I guess it's a waste of money to have spares i'll probably never use. I may have to try grannyknot's advice first.

Does anyone have any spare or a lead to who supplies sets of main jets for the triple SK carbs? I preferably need size 150, 160 and 170. I thought Mikunis where compatible but they're not. The jets I have now were drilled out more by the previous shop and been running really rich. Thanks in advance.
  3. I believe I picked up the last complete exhaust system from Brantford Nissan and had installed years ago. I don't know if these helps you but here's are some photos I took. Very difficult to take under the car. It's from the stock 1972 240Z.
  4. Nice work on that centre console psdenno. What colour and how did you to paint the borders along the choke panel. Silver or white?

Sorry for the delay. My home computer crashed and i can't reply from it instead I'm using my phone. Yes it's working perfectly fine still. I've used fasteners that i have laying around and lucky enough to find one with a flatter head bolt. Make sure you cut it flush with the nut and punch the end of the bolt so the nut will not losen to come off. There should be one on all each roller. Yours probably have already disintegrated before you cleaned it.:D.

Thanks borini63 for posting. Now the question is, will you sell it? I could always take it to a Seamtress to fit the size.

No, but i got a hold of the fellow we met last summer in Rochester to send me a photo of what it look like. I thought it was all 240Z but has some Z31s as well but the majority are 240Z. It was the last one when he bought it over ten years ago in Florida designed by Reyn Spooner American Classics. I couldn't find one so the back up is to take my Club Jacket for alteration to fit him.

ajmcforester - A typical Hawaiian shirt material will be fine, don't wanna go too fancy. He's got a denim Levi's with Datsun patches already. Thanks siteunseen - That's too funny! I never thought of that one. Thanks hr369 - I tried called them today but no answer. I wanted to talk to someone there instead of emailing but I guess I might just have to do that. He's got a few T-shirts already although that looks nice, he likes an Hawaiian shirt . Thanks

As an alternative...how, where and who? If that's the case I could design a one-of-a-kind instead and give it to him later on his 17th and a half . Thanks

Thanks black gold man. I've seen that one but it also has the newer Z models, I know he only prefers the S30 series. I've seen someone wearing it before at a z car shows. It was all 240Z or S30's from stock to safari rallies in illustration series.

My son's 17th birthday is a month away. I wonder if anyone from the community is able to help me out, i'm searching for a 240Z or S30 only Hawaiian shirt to purchase even a second hand as long as it's in reasonably good wearing condition , size medium or large preferably. Zero on ebay or craigslist, I only found one company in Maui but they featured all the Z models, my son is not a fan of the new model (sorry). Please let me know if you have one to sell. Thanks in advance.

I’m so deeply sadden to hear that David Bowie died of cancer yesterday. I just want to express my emotions. He is truly a great talented musician. I still remember when I was a kid in mid 70s the first time listening to his album “Young Americans”.I named my 1972 Datsun 240Z “Ziggy” based on his song “Ziggy Stardust” because when I bought the Z it had one original Koito headlamp and the other was another brand. The lights were two different colour and it reminded me of David Bowie’s distinctive eye colour.R.I.P. David Bowie

Thanks for the photos gnosez. But do you have a photo of it in full side view? Is this bracket mounted in the middle of the lower rocker panel and is it visible when looking at it from a side view? Sorry if i'm asking for to much details. Thanks again.
  16. Nice work! I noticed you're out from our Canadian West side. Will you make it in time or so to our Canadian East side Z North Convention this summer?

I wish I have a plasma cutter. How's the dismantling going? I sent you a PM. Thanks.
  18. It's already been one full year, where has the time go? I'm working on my son's '70 240Z. Luckily we found an OEM driver's side inner fender in Vermont and got it in time for Christmas! Replacing the inner fender and frame rail. Hi Ho Hi Ho, Its Off To Weld We Go!! Uh Oh, So Many More Years To Go Go!! hahaha Happy New Year!!

Do you have any photos of it installed to a 240Z? I tried searching for photos and feedback but can't find any. I'm thinking of putting a set in one of my zed.

Yes, it can go by via Greyhound parcel and ship to Buffalo NY and I pick it up there.

If you do decide to part it out. What is the condition and possibility of parting the inner cowl panel and the chimney? Might also be interested both doors shell only. Thanks.
  22. If you could point exactly where to measure i can gladly do that for you, kind a hard where to start measuring the rings. I figured out how to attach pictures so hope these photos can help you. I can mail you the templates just pm or email it. Any comments just let me know. Thanks.
  23. hey Metalman, sorry for the delay, just enjoying the last bit of labour day summer heat. Anyways, i've found something interesting between the passenger and driver side lenses. I think my driver side lens was a replacement but the holes did not match the original rings. Now I understand why it cracked, i think the previous owner drilled it the wrong way. Could it be a Japan versus American version? (see picture showed in red, blue and green reference). I have no idea where to start the measurements, but you can see the width and thickness of the rim and lens. I've traced one ring and can do the other side if this is what you're looking for? Just let me know you need anything else. Sorry I can't figure out how to attached my image. It's asking for URL? when I click on image attachment.
  24. I have a set in storage but one of the lens is cracked. I will dig them out, take some photos, measurements and will report back later.
  25. I'm currently restoring a 1970, pretty sure it's a Canadian car if it makes any difference. It has E88 head, car has matching engine number, vin # in low 400s, seat belts dated 12/69, engine harness tags are 11/69 but the door jam tag is 3/70. I was confused myself but i'm leaving it the way it is.
