Wow, she looks great! You must be so happy to have her back in such a condition. PMG
  4. Those are nice, but damn the $$$ I was thinking the Vitaloni or baby turbo. PMG
  5. What did you end up with? Have any pictures and a review? PMG
  6. You can use the bolts where the shock was mounted to attach an L bracket to hold the 240z bumpers. PMG
  7. Looking to keep a classic look or more modern? Can refinish an old 240z wheel or go with momo, Nardi etc with the appropriate hub adapter. I personally like the Nardi classic and will be getting one with red stiching to match the boot. There is no best 😊 PMG
  8. Shoot, you want my old ones? Collecting dust in my garage. Edit: apologies for going off topic. PMG
  9. Here you go. Get this one. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/m20ProductDisplayView?pageSize=10&resultCatEntryType=2&searchTerm=&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&productId=1926871&storeId=10001&sType=&pgGrp=search PMG
  10. Google Image search.. See what you like. Think about what you want out of it; for show or function. Urethane flexes and fiberglass is rigid. The former flexes a bit going 70 mph and the latter cracks easier when hitting curbs. There is no best. PMG
  11. You have made great progress, wow! Sometimes it is good to put her back together and drive her for a bit to get that joy back; a reminder of what all the work is for. Once reinvigorated, tackle the other projects.....? PMG
  12. How cool is that! Congratulations. PMG
  13. Congrats on your purchase. It's always nice to see another classic on the road. I believe you can swap out a 5 speed all the way up to '83. As for your rebuild, it really depends if you want it stock or mix and match heads, use FI or carbs etc.. PMG
  14. Nice car and nice pictures. Good to see another silver '77 Z.! PMG
  15. Youtube I would assume has a lot of clips of the msa system
  16. Not sure why this is so difficult for you.. Why not just buy the covers then go to a local hardware store and start grabbing screws to see what fits....? Am I missing something here or does this seem simple.? PMG
  17. Agreed on the fusible links. Also, most people place the fuel pressure gauge post filter under the hood. I hear the gauges with the liquid inside is more accurate. I bought mine at Jegs, but I imagine they are available locale. PMG
  18. Check all the fuses. Are you getting fuel pressure? Anything smell burned? PMG
  19. Pardon my interruption: I've been lurking around here for some time trying to learn what I can for my 280z. I just wanted to say that there are some really good people on this forum; it's a real community. The way you help each other is inspiring and I just wanted to say thanks. So happy for you Ms. Jai ☺ PMG
  20. Looks great! I hope to do the same with my '77 after I finish with the suspension refresh. PMG
  21. Pretty standard 24" straight through that they already had. I was looking for a glasspack, but they didn't have it. Figured the resonator would be enough and it was.. Funny thing, I originally wanted a MagnaFlow, but they didn't have it and went with Flowmaster with a chrome tip instead. Pretty happy with my $300 purchase in the end. Oh, I extended the tip about 2" past the rear bumper and my exhaust smell with the windows down has dissipated [emoji2] PMG
  22. Installed a 2.5" exhaust with a MagnaFlow 3 days ago, went back today to add a resonator. No drone and a nice deep sound when I get on it. PMG
  23. She looks great! A perfect day for a drive in a classic. PMG
  24. I have the upgraded toyota truck calipers up front without the larger bmc .. No issues with pedal on the floor....? Likely more front bias though, but pedal feel is good. PMG
