  1. Yea I have a cover too, if I didnt like the way it turned out I was going to just slap on the cover. Try it you may be surprised how well it turns out.
  2. Looks amazing! Wheel/tire combo is spot on!
  3. Im in the same boat. I ordered mine the beginning of May. He told me it would be 2 months. He did tell me that the guy that does his headwork had a death in the family, sounded like his father, so that delayed him quite a bit. Im trying to be patient but im kinda at the point in my build where i'm ready to put in the motor. I dont wanna keep calling and bugging him though.
  4. Ah I see. Yea you should be good then.
  5. Thanks. Glad to hear it worked out for you, I couldnt get it to stick. Did you do the pillars too or just the headliner? Because I dont think the headliner needs as much to stick.
  6. And some random pics of how its sitting right now. Im waiting VERY patiently for my motor to get here from Rebello so I can get to the fun stuff!
  7. Just finished a few more things on the list. Installed the vinyl trim on my pillars and did my headliner. I followed this link from Blue and worked great. Only difference is I bought the kit from Motorsport. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/interior-s30/43801-roof-liner-header-liner-pillar-vinyl-installation.html The glue they send with their headliner kit is garbage, throw it away or give it to your wife to do crafts and stuff. I went to Autozone and bought this: Its pricey ($25 a can) but its the real deal. This is the same stuff they use at Automotive upholstery shops. (I used to work at an upholstery shop). I also put in the dash and finished most of the wiring.
  8. Haha thats funny. I thought about doing that too but I just like the smaller size of the 240 horn.
  9. I would love to but I dont see this thing on the road anytime soon. Hopefully next spring! I was able to find a new horn mechanism on ebay so I will be able to make mine work.
  10. Hey guys, I bought a 240Z steering wheel and i'm in need of a horn pad and the pieces that mount it to the wheel. If anyone has one laying around let me know how much.
  11. Here are the receipts from Fastenal and Clipsandfasteners.com for all of my yellow zinc hardware. I bought a little extra just to be safe so this list is NOT exact. Hope it helps someone.
  12. According to my bathroom scale.... the flywheel is about 10.3 lbs and the pressure plate is about the same. The clutch disc is only 2 or 3 lbs.
  13. The flywheel is 10.5 lbs. I will weigh the clutch and pressure plate for you and post it.
  14. Got a few goodies today in anticipation of my motor coming in soon. Centerforce clutch and Fidanza lightweight flywheel Pacesetter ceramic coated 3-2-1 header
  15. Hi, I just got my SEM stuff on Amazon. I've decided to do a triple carb setup after talking to Dave at Rebello. Here is the link to my painter. His name is Ryan and does excellent work. From insurance repair to concourse quality paint jobs. Automotive Restorations and Concours Quality Paint Funny, we just got back from eating down at Palmer Lake tonight.
  16. Cleaned up and painted the 5 speed today. Looks brand new again! Installed filler tube and replated gas cap and chain. Also put in a new rubber flap.
  17. What ended up being the issue with the brakes?
  18. Beautiful car but cmon...$120k??? He may get 60 or 70.
  19. Cool, what part of Colorado? Theres only 91 octane here too and you may need to retune or re jet your carbs for the altitude.
  20. Thank you! Thats good to hear about your 5 spd /rear diff combo. I will try my setup as it is and hopefully it will work for me.
