  1. I'm guessing he means that usually the vehicles that go through BJ auctions are all original or rare. This Z is all original other than the panasports and it doesnt list the mileage but I am assuming its low.
  2. Hahaaahaa, Thanks brotha. Yours will turn out even better!
  3. I was thinking Bring-a-trailer as well. Good call on the stance. I'll raise it up a tad and take some more pictures.
  4. If I was able to get $25k, I would be happy with that.
  5. Thank you Grannyknot. I really appreciate it. As for the new businesss, I'll be doing what i've been doing for 20 years. Automotive window tinting, paint protection film, and detailing. Just going to be doing it on my own. Hopefully someday I will be able to do another restoration
  6. Hello friends, The time has come for me to try and sell my 280Z. I never imagined I would ever want to sell it but I am in the process of starting a new business and need the space and money. I'm wondering how much you think it's worth. I know it's a tricky market and I don't want to overprice and scare away people but definitely don't want to cut myself short either. Here is what I have to give you an idea. It's a 75 280z that has been completely restored top to bottom. Completely disassembled. Put on a rotisserie, all rust was removed. Body work and paint done professionally. 240z bumpers and front fascia installed All suspension components powdercoated All hardware yellow zinc plated Brand new weatherstripping Rebello 3.0 liter stroker Triple Weber 45s Custom stainless exhaust 5 speed transmission BC coilovers Rota RkR wheels 15x8 Silvermine Stage 3 front brake kit Much much more but this gives you an idea. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. Starts up every time and is amazing to drive. I have well over $30k in receipts. I realize that I will not get that back but where would you start for pricing? I would like to stay away from craigslist and facebook pages, because I would like to just deal with serious buyers. This is not a for sale ad, just looking for opinions. I appreciate the help as always!
  7. Some new shots of the Z after a fresh detail and wax. Enjoy.
  8. I wouldn't change a thing on your car....it looks perfect!
  9. Thanks! Definitely a combination of things... I will probably change out the springs first and see how that feels and then go from there. i"ll keep you posted.
  10. I have mixed feelings of my BC coilovers. I did the standard drop, not the Extreme low. It sits just right, but the front is as low as I can go. The issue I am having is the stiffness. I ordered the 5k-7k kit which was recommended by the distributor. He said it would have a factory ride. Not really the case. It's not teeth shattering stiff but since I dont race or autoX this car I wanted a more comfortable ride. So with the conversion, I have 280 lb springs up front and 336 lb springs in the rear. I think this is still too much. I may try and order some custom springs with a lighter spring rate and see if that helps. I'm thinking 200lb front and 250lb rear. I also have the Polyurethane bushings so that probably adds to the stiffness, but when I had the Eibach lowering springs it rode really nice....just not low enough. Anyways overall I'm pretty happy with them, just wish it was a little smoother ride. The install wasn't bad. It would have been easier if I would've gone with these the first time when everything was already apart. Just need to remove strut housing, cut off all but 2" of perch, slide on coilover, weld around the base.
  11. 225/50R15 for the widest, may have slight rubbing. 205/55R15 no rub, taller sidewall.
  12. Thanks for the info! I think I will look for some shorter stacks.
  13. Hey guys I purchased these Redline filters for my triple weber setup. It states that they are capatable with all air horns but mine seem pretty close to the outside. I'm worried that it will restrict air flow. I may have to purchase the shorter horns but would like not to, What do you guys think?
  14. That looks great! Nice work. I like the thicker edging.
  15. I just called a couple glass companies and neither could find any door glass, nationwide. Interesting.
  16. Yeah, I already went down that road. It helped but I still have a few deeper scratches.
  17. Thanks but looking for new. Unless they don't have any fine scratches in them?
  18. Has anyone found a quality replacement door glass? Black dragon used to carry them but doesn't look like they do anymore.
  19. I just remove them when I wash it.
  20. Interesting, mine only came with the stick on option. I guess if I had to I could drill a hole in each one. I would probably rivet them in. Mine were not a perfect fit either but pretty close. You just have to kinda split the difference in the gaps. The chrome would definitely look sharp on your car! I was surprised what a difference it made.
  21. Yea like Rossiz says, they are 3 tabs that use double sided tape to attach them to the light bucket. I haven't had any issues with them coming off yet.
  22. Thanks! They are really easy to do. Just buy the cheap headlight covers, throw away supplied black trim, buy chrome door edge trim from auto store and install!
