  1. Im seeking a passenger side regulator for a 75 280z. Mine was damaged during replating and needs replaced. I'll pay up to $50 if working properly! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
  2. Looking good man! Im glad you're sticking with the #904 color. The best color on the Z in my opinion.
  3. Congrats! At least one of us has gotten a motor back. Hopefully he will be finishing mine soon.
  4. No prob! Thats my plan as well. The 240z Xenon airdam will fit. But I think the grille needs a little modification to work.
  5. Same here. He's building mine at 11.5:1 and I live at 6200 ft. After being hesitant he promised that it would be fine. Hope so....
  6. Thanks Chas! Are you doing the 240 bumper as well?
  7. Thank you sir. I actually ended up using a wheel paint that I had. The color matched pretty good. The seal from the kit seemed like it was too thick and the hatch didnt want to close very well. The OEM one is still a little thick but its better. I think it just needs to be broken in.
  8. I wasnt happy with the hatch seal that came in my Precision kit so I bought a NOS one. Installed my spoiler. Also put in my rear quarter windows. New rubber.
  9. After a much needed week long vacay in Maui, I'm back to work on the Z. I focused my attention on the lights and the rear area of the car. Pretty rough shape. Repainted the taillight panel in factory gunmetal Disassembled Cleaned housings Then polished the lenses. New foam gaskets. Installed new bulbs. Purchased some cleaner chrome bezels off Ebay. I still may get mine replated in the future. And.......Walahhh! On to the front turn signals. I purchased the 240Z turn signals off Ebay as well. I got them fairly cheap but they were rough. The lenses were in decent shape though. First I disassembled them and soaked everything in degreaser overnight. As you can see, it stripped the chrome off of reflector piece. So I got some chrome vinyl wrap and covered it. Turned out pretty good I think. Hopefully it holds up to the heat. Cleaned everything up and reassembled. Also polished up the lenses.
  10. Yeah pretty much the whole car and then some. There are a few specialty bolts that I had to have plated or I just reused.
  11. Specialty Plating here in Denver Specialty Plating Services | Denver, Auora, Boulder, CO
  12. Thanks! I just took my old hoses to the local Autozone and they matched them up pretty good. I currently have the fiberglass bumpers but the Futufab bumpers look enticing.
  13. New brake booster painted black and installed with new master cylinder. Also installed misc brake lines.
  14. Thanks Blue! I just used a buffing compound with an aggressive pad. It took out most of the fine scratches and haziness. There are some deeper ones that I may try to get out with a glass polish kit.
  15. Started assembling my door glass. Polished them up a little to take some of the fine scratches out. Smooth as.... well, glass. Freshly plated hardware Now I need to source some new window regulators because I had mine plated and it destroyed the plastic rollers and the crank mechanism in the process :disappoin On a happier note I talked to Dave Rebello and he told me my motor was finished and he just needs to do the dyno testing on it. So if all goes well it should be shipping out soon!
  16. I took my gas tank to a local radiator shop and had them hot tank and seal it. They also painted it black for me. Installed new rubber insulators on the straps Cleaned up the filler hose and installed it. And finally got my tank in. Now I just need to figure out where all of these fuel lines go Also bought a new side mirror from a 240Z Holes dont line up so I had to drill a new hole and make the other one larger And installed pic Much better than the plastic 280Z mirrors I think.
  17. New floor pans are lookin good!
  18. I'm working on a large list for you. A lot of these parts transfer over to the 280. How is your car coming along?
  19. Looks absolutely amazing! Excellent work
  20. No such luck. I'll buy a new set from Nissan and use some loctite. The list of things I need keeps getting bigger and bigger....
