Missing or wrong bolts
Yesterday the window of my driver door in my 240z got shifted due to slamming the door to hard. I had to remove the window crank and panel and discovered that some bolts were missing. The original window regulator works fine but some bolts should be replaced. Are they available? Who sells the hardware?

Should i replace the fusible link or not? What are the consequences?
I circled the part that melted. Plastic shrink tubing that isolates the o ring terminal. I thought i could remove the plastic casing on the fusible link to slide a new shrink tube but it seems not possible. I took some other pictures where you can notice that i wrapped some 3m electric tape to act as insulator. It seems not possible to remove the casing to insert a new shrink tube.

Should i replace the fusible link or not? What are the consequences?
The other day while changing the negative battery cable i accidentally bridge the positive and negative cable ends with the socket and burned the shrink tubing insulator of the fusible link. I tried to remove the plastic cover of the fusible link to insert a new shrink tube but it seems impossible. Should i buy one new or should i just wrap some 3m electrical tape where the shrink tube was? What if i leave that o ring connector naked?

WHere can i purchase a 24" high quality negative battery cable with a soldered terminal and additional 4 inch cable which will be fastened to the firewall? Maybe something similar. I would prefer the original negative battery cable for my 1972 240z. https://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/battery-cable/duralast-battery-cable/570458_310040_0 Please advise if it the original negative battery cable was 24 inch long?

keep blowing the fuse for the dash lights/tail lights/park lights, Please help.
thanks PATCON. I did not use CRC soft seal nor anything. I was wondering if i should use a Dremmel with a brass brush tip to clean the rest of the sockets on the remaining 3 side marker lights instead of replacing them all. THe only one that was really rusted is the one in the picture. Should i spray any product to keep the humidity out of the socket and avoid rust?

Yes its fixed. The contacts on the license plate lamp were also full of rust and a bulb was shut. I would also like to buy one of these lamps. Well i just got a full set of marker light replicas made in thailand. I spliced the ground and positive cable and crimped new bullet terminals. I prefer using the old rubber which seems fine, the original lens and the original metal frame. Would you recommend also spraying some CRC soft seal to avoid any future rust or could this product damage the rubber seal?

What about the smaller wire with yellow terminal that is fastened to the firewall in the chassis. Should i replace it also with a thicker gaugr wire?

Is this negative pole grounded correctly to chassis? As you can see there is an additional ground cable fastened to the chassis. Should i use another gauge for this?

im having this issue again! My 15 amp fuse at in the fuse holder of the Parking light Harness provided by Dave Irwin went south. I guess its easier to disconnect the specific rotten and rusted red marker light at the rear , install a new 15 amp fuse and see if it blows again. I bought 15 fuses as they are very cheap. Do you think the power cable could be sliced somewhere under the dash also?

Electric fan or new fan clutch/shroud for my 240z?
I guess ill have to test my car again in a big traffic jam with the ac on and see how it behaves before spending more money and throwing more devices in the engine bay. No more spending money on useless stuff.
