  3. ill take the 6 plugs out today and will post a picture from left to right 6-5-4-3-2-1
  4. Car ran great. No sputtering, nice aceleration! Even better when the pump measured 4.2 psi.
  5. 3.70 turns clockwise spark plugs number 2 and 5
  6. Today after taking the car for a couple of nice spins the lower radiator hose came off the radiator inlet. Is this normal due to high speed. Any clues to the cause of thiS?
  7. Rear float and front float fuel levels after minimum bending of the tang.
  8. What else should i keep adjusting? Narrowing the gap between both floats more?
  9. You guys wanted me to adjust to 2.5 turns clockwise on a 240z modified engine? SM needles, Schneider 274F Camshaft and pertronix ignition?
  10. so 3.5 to 4 turns will be okay? in the past the former airtex 8012s fuel i had installed measured 4.2 psi and i could dial it at 2.75 to 3 turns clockwise. Maybe in the end the car does not need the 4.2 psi and will run okay with 3 psi but i will need to open the carbs more.
  11. took the car for a ride yesterday and had to dial both fuel mixture knobs to 4 turns clockwise. 3 or 3.5 turns simply dont work. Could this be attributable to the fact that my engine is not stock and has been modified to 2.6Liters with a Schneider 274F camshaft and pertronix ignitor module and coil? I would really like to set it to 2.5 or 2.75 turns clockwise but it becomes to lean and lacks power. I will test the car today without the airbox fastened to the carbs to ease the adjustments if necessary.
  12. I have a fire extinguisher since 3 years ago.
  13. Any float sync set available yet?

  14. This means for accuracy i will need the float sync one of this members developed and sells.
  15. You have not advised me on the level of the rear carb. Do i still need to bend the tang more?
  16. If i lift the piston up at 2000 rpm should the car stumble and shut down or should it keep running. Im afraid of bending the tang more and the fuel may overflow.
  17. This means the gap between the float and lid will be much less than .55 or 9/16 inches??????
  18. This means the gap between the float and lid will be much less than .55 or 9/16 inches??????
  19. So should i take out the rear float lid and bend the tang some more narrowing the gap between the float lid and the float?
  20. Now this is the rear one at idle which i think still needs more bending of the tang. However i could be wrong.
  21. This is a picture of the level using clear sight tubes for the front carb.
