  1. Do you have pictures of the installation? Just got the full kit 4 days ago? Any soldering needed or is it just a bolt-in period? I would like to see pictures of a clean and profesional installation.
  2. Thinking of replacing my clear fuel filter with a Malpassi King Fuel Filter which comes with a pressure regulator. Which one should i purchase for my 240z?? 85mm, 8mm outlet tails or 67mm? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Malpassi-Filter-King-Fuel-Pressure-Regulator-and-Gauge-clear-glass-bowl-/110622432307
  3. I dont ming! Just want to know how was the routing done and which type and size of hose did you use.
  4. Jeff G, Any picture of your engine bay? I would like to see how you routed the rubber fuel hose far or behind the valve cover....
  5. I dont see no other solution to this issue! i cant believe other members have kept their stock metal rail and have no fuel percolation trouble at idle on traffic.
  6. Mark, Fuel percolation still shows up this saturday. Got stucked on a traffic jam with my 11 year old daughter and the car suddenly shut off after presenting a lumpy idle. Fortunately i managed to crank the car. My daughter told me "daddy, is the battery damaged?" I guess its now time to bypass the stock fuel rail as the hotter NGK BP5ES are not helping that much!
  7. Questions: 1. Still tracing the wire that goes from the choke light to the seatbelt which is supposed to turn off once you pull the seatbelt. I hope somebody can shed some light on the wiring path. 2. I have only found a female connector disconnected underneath the driver seat. I guess when they painted the car they installed the passenger seat on the driver place and vice versa or do both seats have a sensor underneath them? Please confirm.
  8. Honestly i have only found a female connector loose under the driver seat which is attached to it and one female plug loose under the carpet at the back of the passenger seat as shown. There is no info in the internet regarding how to troubleshoot this to get the fasten seat belt light working. What is the current trend? To disactivate the fasten seat belt light or to make all the dash light operational? If you read the manual as attached, if one thing in this circuit fails you need to replace the part and will not be able to drive until you fix this issue. Am i wrong?
  9. I have found two female sockets underneath the carpet that is under both left and right seats on my 240z! I want to connect the Fasten Seat Belt light so it shows up as it did when the car came out of the Factory to keep the stock look. anyone here has pictures of what to connect to power it back again?
  10. Looking for the Red Color Panels! I contacted Mike at Banzai but he does not carry them any longer! Any other option??
  11. so you believe i should stay with these wheels? I was wondering if should go from 185 tire to 205 so the car looks bigger while keeping the stock rim? i want to be able to install the front nice xenón air dam and due to the height of these wheels dont know if it will be scratched while driving.
  12. Both of the original seatbelts on my 240z are worn meaning they do not retract. Besides of that i will need to send them for full restoration as the screw that attaches the shoulder and lap does not keep in place. Any recommendation for high quality replacement for both of them?
  13. Just received an email from Courtesy Nissan mentioning it is NLA!! WHat will be the closest high quality speedo cable replacement for my 1972 240z?
  14. My1972 240z has arleady been restored and painted. What comes next? Swapping the wheels which are 14" and still not the original as they were used on 280z model. However, as i still was undecided i installed a Brand new set of 185 R14 tires until i get some feedback from the fórum: I really like the american racing Wheel set: https://whiteheadperformance.com/product/american-racing-15x7-polished-slot-mag-wheel-kit-0-offset-4x114-3-vna695748-datsun-240z-260z-280z-280zx-510/ My car has a 280z 5 speed transmission and would like to know if changing the wheels from the 280z type to this aftermarket set will affect the driveability or performance of the car. Once done i am also planning on installing the front air dam bumper manufactured by XENON. Any opinions or recommedations??
  15. DO you still have it available? Is it original OEM nissan for a 240z? Pictures?
  16. I am purchasing it right away then!! Do i need to purchase any additional parts than the ones included in the kit MSA sells?
  17. I am considering on replacing the exhaust system on my 72 240z from the manifold to the tail. I am not interested on headers just something that sounds Racing and gives some additional horses: Is the MSA PREMIUM EXHAUST OKAY?? or is there any better recommendation? Should i also change the gasket that attaches to the downpipe?
  18. thanks! Sorry for the late reply. I just wanted to know if driving for 5 minutes with the choke pulled until the car operation becomes normal is ok. thanks.
  19. is it Brand new??? Nissan?? Any pictures? I will need it shipped to Miami, FL!! Please quote!
  20. i was just questioning about the choke time and if it was safe to use the car when cold with the choke pulled for 5 to 7 mins until it warms up?
  21. Picking up the car today! Mechanic charged US$45.00 for valve adjustment. He said they just needed Little tweaking. Ill post some pics of the spark plugs at 2.65 turns. 2.5 is too lean!! It is normal to start driving with the choke pulled for 5 to 7 mins until the car warms up? Remember i removed the inline manifold thermostat from the system to avoid warm wáter travelling on the rear of the carbs thus causing fuel percolation.
