  1. I bent the tab a little futher on the front float and i think i got it. I even used a 14mm bolt and a school ruler to verify. Tomorrow ill try on the rear carb.
  2. Well ill have to get a 14mm screw as im trying to measure with a high school ruler and its impossible to get it perfect
  3. Well my float sync set finally arrived. I have managed to bend the tabs a little bit more but still believe the level is low. I took some pictures as reference. What do you think?
  4. The 2.5 turns is just a base line to get the car idling? Mine is idling at 3 turns clockwise. My engine has been modified to 2.6L and has a shneider 274 camshaft with ovesized pistons. I believe the engine gets better at 3.5 turns. I.have the colortune tool so i can check anyway.
  5. This is how i have the front carburetor float right now. I will bend it as you say. The fuel level is at shown in the picture without bending.
  6. Ok will push it then. Anyway my float syncs should be here next week for more precision.
  7. Please refer to this photo. I need the level to raise in the chamber. Shall i just push the tang towards the float?
  8. Thats what i meant! The tang needs to be pushed and not lifted away from the float.
  9. This is just a spare float i had in the storage room. To raise to fuel level i just need to push the tab towards the float and not raise it away from the float? By the way the tab on this float is ruined.
  10. Thanks. I thought all i had to do is push it down with my finger. I really dont want to mess the ramp form.
  11. Well once again i tried to use the plastic glasses while i wait for my float syncs to arrive. I marked the 23mm measurement from the top downwards with a pencil. I guess front one needs some bending. Im afraid i bend it to much and mess it up. I guess its better to leave it as it is unless you can point out how to accomplish this safely. First pic is rear carb.
  12. I have a spare single point distributor and would like do dismantle to service it. Is it worth?
  13. I dont have the pair of float syncs yet. I am using clear plastic tubes so i guess im looking for 23mm down from the lid.
  14. Ok. Let me see if i can find a pencil first to mark it. If it is not there yet i will need to bend the tab slightly.
  15. 23 mm down from where exactly? From where to where shall i measure with the caliper?
  16. This is the fuel level using the clear hoses Ztherapy sold me long time ago. Im still waiting for Randall to sell me a kit of his great invention.
  17. Well i guess it was indeed the gasket. I do have some spares but since i will be adjusting the floats i will only use them when they are fully adjusted. I tried a sealant to fix this one. Hope it does not leak if i decide to drive wild.
