The skin on my pic. has No: 80151-N3400 a 260z (for euro) number.. Question is does it fit a 240z?

Do all 240z 260z and 280z 2 seaters have the same skin? see picture.. the lock sits on the same spot? i'm not sure..

No one misses the gaspedal linkage on that set of carbs?

Mark, your absolutely right. But what's the use of a bigger Alternator then... and as you, i recommend a thicker cable between your alternator and battery. The danger in a bigger alternator is that some people forget the original wires to the fusebox are standard already on the small side.. add some H4 headlights and things already are overloaded.. see the topics about "smell after 15 minutes riding in the dark". And age have made them already vulnerable. Are there a lot of good fuseboxes? and, those bigger alternators have bigger wiring and are heavier, no need for extra (As you all say) Pounds..

The 3 gauges in a 280zx are 1 set, 1 housing.. and have different wiring / connectors

If one go's to a bigger alternator, you will need bigger wiring ... standard is 60 amps, you don't need more.. When you do, and i speak here as an electrician, you will have a fair chance that one day you car catches fire.. If you want more reserve power, go for more led-lights, you save a lot of Amps there for that loud stereo! and you're wiring thanks you...

And... may i ad... never just cut a wire that way, if you had studied that plug for a moment you could have simply taken out that single pin and later on put it back.. now you have a damaged wiring loom...

I've got the 280zx S130 service manuals. A 280Z never came to Europe officially .. All fuel venting is connected to the inlet tube tank.

Here in Europe... we never heard about a charcoal canister! As far as i know there are no euro versions with a charcoal canister. I don't have fuel smell .. (Also that can over the fuel tank is not there on a euro version.)

Buy a original set for the car and....don't use them! haha... store e'm and use a good set of seats in your car. why? Those seats that are original in the car are not so good. Got myself a "Scheel" chair in my 240z. (Custom made chair) and that sits Pérfect! Also i got a set of König seats (German made) for 240z. They were used in rally's in de 1970's .. saw them in yellow/black. ive got them in red/black in new condition.. stored..

Did you know that euro cars don't have those vin tags on the dash? Only under the hood on the type plate and in the chassis of course.

And no one ask himself .. must be a 300zx turbo? or '81-'83 year... I don't know if a old type 300zx has a R200.. all i know is that a 280zx was build till '84. please explain..

Good question! Years ago they gave 'm away... In de states.. Grrrr.... Here in Europe they cost a few hundred euro.. a good one..

It's a RHD, right hand drive car... notice all letters in the vid. Here in the Netherlands we saw that UK video about a year ago... Since this one and the vid from Wheeler dealers (about the yellow 240Z) there are about 5-10 people who are restoring or are trying!!!... to restore a Datsun Z... I get the strangest questions for parts.. And they still think it's cheap to restore a Z-car... That time has past years ago..

I bought these a month ago, i am also interested in were the name changed, i saw both names on the pumps. or its a different manufacturer .. I know that Atsugi makes more parts for the 280zx s130.
