Hey guys I have been wanting a z for over five years but just became finanically stable enough to go and get one. A 78 280. I am looking for as much info as you can give me on this car, all info is appreciated. I am looking to do an exaust swap but I reall hate that rotten rice sound i want this thing to really purrrrrrr. Also tha dash is cracked bad but I expected that. Another thing that I need is a center consol, and some more comfortable seats as i drive a long way to work. Another thing that I wanted to know ,tell me i i sound stupid, but can i do any thing to the front and back bumper to make them flow with the car? The last thing I need is a fron air dam because at about 100 the front gets loose, any ideas Any help is appreciated thanks

I Am heading out to wyo in oct, hopefully with a new 70' 240. But I depends on what you are into. Give Them a call. It costs almost as much as going to a university. I am assuming that you are a senior? The only thing that is harsh is the fact that you cant have facial hair below your ears, jewelry, or tatoos. But the town is kinda like Chico Ca "My Home Town". Lotsa parties!

Hey, I am 17 and am about to buy a z. They have stuck in my mind ever since I saw them. My question to you is: What year? I have been told to get a 240 because they are so light, But what year is the best? Also, How much should I expect to pay? I live in northern Califorina But would be willing to travel a ways to get one. And any tips on what to look for? I know rust is a problem with the older cars but how much is too much? Finely I wanted to know what the regrestration and insurance prices are like generly of cource............They will be high because I am 17 but you olny live once!!!!!!!! thanks, Steve
