I would not hesitate to buy or sell an antique tire as such - so long as it is clearly understood it is for DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY - not to be driven on. And I doubt that anyone would want to drive on it unless they happened to have 4 matching tires which I would guess is nearly impossible. And an observation based on a NOS Michelin XWX I have from the 70s - tread compound is probably pretty hard and driving on it would probably not be realistic. I have bought tires from the 1040-1950 vintage from BuyCheapTiresandWheels.com which appears to be a subsidiary of Coker Tire. And I know of a guy who has a set of 1948 vintage Goodyear 7.10-15s for sale. If its for sale - what do you want for it.

76 280Z parked for long time with handbrake set. Released brake - but rear wheels will not turn. Both rear drums frozen. Handbrake has been disconnected. Was able to free one side with banging and force applied with breaker bar between studs. Other side still resisting - any suggestions appreciated. Ed
