That compressor mount setup looks great, I would really like to do something similar. I do not yet have a ZX bracket to look at, what needs to be done to adapt it to the Sanden compressor?

Thank you, Steve, that's just what I wanted to know. But, the price is not good news, I was hoping it would be cheaper. At least now I have the part number, since my emblem was completely missing.

1974 260z, I am missing the Datsun portion of the hatch emblems. I would like to know if this emblem interchanges with other years, and if anyone would have one they would like to sell. It does not have to be perfect, missing pins are ok. This is all I need for a complete set. Thanks, Gary

I wish I still had it, gave it to another owner some time ago. I have seen them for sale on eBay.

I also have a 74 260z, when I acquired the car it had an air cleaner exactly like yours, including the holes. They appeared original to me. The air cleaner was not installed, and I did not get the flat top carbs, so that's about all I can help you with.

I like this method of sunroof repair but also wonder what you will do with the screw holes. Filling does seem the best option, but with what?

I turned the original steel hex fitting into a plug by MIG welding the center of the nut section solid, then grinding it smooth. Worked well for me.

Nope, no clear coat on that poor old thing. Just burned up silver paint and gray primer.

The only time I have seen a group together is at Cars and Coffee. There is a local Z guru here, I will send you a message with his number. My car is an ongoing project, it is totally drivable but not insured. So, unfortunately I am unable take it on trips. After I get it further along in the rebuild, I hope to do that.

I'm in Ocean Springs. There are a few more Z cars down here, but I have not seen them on this board.
