  1. Yer the 350z is a twin turbo car so pretty good times for some of the older Z's on the track.
  2. The racing was on the track. What are you talking about? Don't be too judgemental regarding some of the speeds you see, remember this footage is edited and I don't want to spoil the video but it's not hard to speed sections up and slow others down for entertainment value. Sulio
  3. The Targa Tasmania is an event held once a year on a southern Island State of Tasmania in Australia. Some of the guys from www.auszcar.com recently had a week long trip to the area finishing with a track day at Symmons Plains race track. Video below: Sulio ...ah and the artical one of the guys wrote about the week with pics! http://www.viczcar.com/Event-News/Ta...-February.html http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=wwSuc5um1Sw

Regarding that rear fin spoiler. Mine is also hollow, I just used a "slicon like" product called SIKAFLEX and a pplied it as per your first pic with the red line to show glue. Not sure if you get it in the US back it's worked fine for some years now. Oh and I brace the front bar as per the pics above also worked good. Sulio
  5. Thanks, nice to hear it had that effect! Sulio
  6. Hi Guys, We got away for the weekend up to one of the mountain ski resorts which in summer is amazing driving. Link below to the artical and video. http://www.viczcar.com/Event-News/Mt-Buller-Cruise-2007.html Sulio

  8. Last weekend we had a group of us head out into the mountains for a couple of days of driving through the hills and mountains in eastern Victoria. Mount Bulla was our destination with two days of perfect mid 20's deg C weather and a night with dinner at a challet on the mountain. Best cruise I've been on to date. Getting the video of the drive together, can't wait to share it... ...hmmm, pics don't seem to have uploaded!????

Hi Justin, ROH is an Australian company and when I bought the wheels they were still making them here. Someone recently told me they are now making them from China, not sure if that is true or if it would affect price. Anyhow I paid AUD$1700.00 which would be about USD$1550.00 however that was about 3 years ago and price might have changed since. Can't remember how much I paid for tyres. I think ROH would have a distributor in the US if that is your location. Their website below, it's pretty cool seeing you can rotate all the wheels in some sort of flash image on the website. http://www.rohwheels.com/asp/home.asp the wheels I have... another nice 3 piece wheel I really like however 5 stud and I did'nt want to go to the effort of changing hubs but they look great...

I bought 3 piece ROH Venturo wheels in 17 inch. 17x8.5 (-6 offset) for front and 17x9.5 (-19 offset) at the back. 5-6 weeks to be made. I think tyres are 225x45 front & 255x40 rears. http://www.viczcar.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10004
  12. the better quality version here...
  13. hehe-yer the tempo felt right so I used it. I did all the editing beside the pool whilst on holiday so music was limited to whatever I had on my lap top hard drive. I worked out why the quality drops off so much when posted on You Tube and hoping to get a clear quality version up soon. Sulio
  14. more practice video editing...

ah yer those bird chirps are from my back yard, some fill in sound. I was going to use some exotic Brazilian jungle bird sound but I thought it would be a bit too cheesy. Anyhow the properly edited version. Quality of the upload still not as good as it can be. I think the You Tube people drop the quality when it's uploaded, probably compressed to save space!?? Hope you like the music... Sulio

I bought a "sticky pod" might for the Z as did a friend so we tried them out and I quickly edited the video below. I've got a lot more footage I hope to put together a longer vid next. I hope you like it! Sulio
  17. I did'nt expect to guess the correct size jets etc just went by the Des Hammil book on Webers and Dells for round about size and hopefully not too far off when I bolt them on. I've heard they can cost you a fortune trying to tune them right. Anyhow they are 40's with 32mm chokes so it should keep it pretty streetable. I bought the carbs jsut as I installed an L28 in the car. With the L28 and the old SU's back on it runs a hell of a lot better than the old L26 so if the tuning gets to be too much of a headache it'll be baqck on with the SU's and onto E-bay with these. Anyhow still to early to tell. Will see soon enough. Cheers, Sulio
  18. Finally ready to bolt on my triples. Let the tuning head aches begin! :surprised
  19. Thats the best looking convertable Z I have seen to date. Of course always personal taste but I like the colour, the wheels, the ride height, even the tasteful cover he's made up. Thanks for sharing, Good Find! Sulio
  20. Thanks Guys. ok 42" limit.
  21. Thanks Enrique, I'll get pricing from each!
  22. Mike, Yer I used Google Earth Maps for the progression. I could have made it smoother but was rushing to get the vid up. I think the next Nationals will be in Easter 2009, most likley somewhere in QLD. Cheers, Sulio Oh and I made a vid of our recent club cruise to Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road, maa fun day! Vid below:
  23. Hi Guys, I've found some carbs I'm interested in located in the US and thinking about shipping to Melbourne, Australia. The seller asked that I nominate a freight company! I wanted to get some quotes, any idea on who I can use for a one off shipment Sea fright US to Melb? Sulio
