yep 260z dash. Might have been deceiving because the car is 260z with 240 rear lights!:surprised

I used an old tripod I had and glued some suction pods to it. Dodgy but worked. Next time I'll buy one as so it can be placed anywhere on the car!

I got away for a weekend down the coast with some of the www.viczcar.com fella's for a couple of days of cruising on the Great Ocean Road. A little wet but man was it fun! Check it out for your self and tell me what you think!

Great vid, not a fan of that song but some really well composed shots you had. I'm inspired. I've been hacking around with cheesy Z vids too, good fun. In two weeks I'm going on an overnight Z cruise down some great cliff edge ocean roads we have on the coast. I am planning to make a perspex box to put the camera in with suction caps and a strap to get some driving shots of various angles of the cars in front and behind. I thought I could use the VIDEO OUT jack on the camera to watch as I drive on an LCD in the car.

Hi Curtis, Yes there are a few. Victoria: Zworx located in Mordiallic which is a Southern suburb of Melbourne. Zshop located in Malvern not far from the City. Zextra located in Altona which is still there but not sure that he opens the doors any more. NSW: AllZparts somewhere in NSW Theres most likely more in NSW however I'm from Victoria so not that familiar. If your in Victoria long enough hire a sporty car and hit the western coast for a nice drive down the Great Ocean Road. Fabulous driving and some nice seaside towns to stop in!

Thanks Guys for some reason the "reply to post" function has just alerted me to the responses to the thread, not sure why that is. Good to get some warning on the SK manifold. I've since bought a universal Lynx linkage kit so to play it safe I think I'll just buy the local Redline manifold.

I've read that different length velocity stacks on triple carbs can change the power band. I'm thinking of using the Ramflo filters I have in a cupboard on my triple Delorotos. Do people usually have the velocity stacks under filters or just bolt on the filter and housing?

I'd be interested in seeing those pics?

Hi Guys, I've got some tripple Dellorto DHLA carbs coming soon for my L28. I am looking for a suitable manifold and believe the SK tripple inlet manifold to be OK. Does anybody have experience with this manifold? The biggest concern is finding a linkage kit for tripples using this manifold, is there a universal linkage kit to fit the SK manifold? Thanks, Sulio oh and anybody have a link to a site that sells this type of manifold and accessories? Further to that what are your recommendations and available manifolds and links to use? We have a local brand called Redline but I've heard a couple of negative reports on thier linkage kit.

240ZGL, yer not expecting to have them running perfectly but getting the right choke size would be a step in the right direction. I think I'll go with the 32's. Glad to hear you set is working well. Can you give me some more info on the set up you have? thanks sulio

Well some good news I bought the carbs from the Italian fella who's been pretty good to deal with to date. I've told him to hold off on shipping as I do more research into a close enough set up for my L28. I know it won't spot on but the closer I get the less fine tuning that will be required later. Do you think 30mm chokes would be too small for a mild L28? A lot of guys I've read about with tripples say they bog down if punched below 3500rpm and should be driven hard to keep them pulling and this is their nature!??? I was just thinking could many be running oversized chokes and jet set up for street use? I'm thinking about requesting one of the following two set ups for the 40's I just bought, 30mm chokes 7548.3 aux venturi 7772.11 emulsion tubes 130 mains 180 air correctors 57 idles 42 pumps or 32mm chokes 7772.3 emulsion tubes 135 mains 210 air correctors 45 idles 55 pumps Opinions?

Hi Guys, I'm looking at buying a set of triple Dellortos from E-bay, as per description below. The seller rebuilds each set and airflow match's them. I need to decide on venturi size set up to request and size of jets/needles to be fitted. I hope to have these carbs fitted to a mild L28. Can anybody give me some approxiamtes to work with? If you have such a set up in your car please advise what you have used? thanks Sulio
