    ^^^^ This one from the "breed" did not click one bid Datsun Z Series 240Z | eBay my case in point , seems that the market is temperamental . Both cars were at auction in similar times .

    I see it like this , in the classic car auctions scene resto/moded cars at times bring more money than a period correct sibling , so that is more than one leaf that can create a FALL in the believe that only period correct classic cars are the ones worth all the money.

    Interesting to see opinions from the east and west US coast , one mentioning that the price tag is optimistic and one that isn't . Lots of good pictures and a very nice video on this RECREATION on a high dollar Italian Stallion . The description mentions that it has an automatic tranny and the pictures shows a manual, wonder what else this vendor has miss on the Ebay post.

    Datsun Other 2 Door | eBay I have seen lately that the 510 is gaining more attention and prices are on the high side , the Z seems to be at a more low tide . Will like to see comments .

    ^^ Thanks for the info, I got the so called "limited edition" (with the two signatures) # 12 , it came with the original biill of sale from BRE . I paid 10% over the sale price from 2008, not bad I guess. What ticks me is that you can still get them with Pete Brock's signature for 60$.

    Came across these posters , one signed by Pete Brock and John Morton in gold marker ink and with a number , the other has no signatures and does have a number on it. I see that they are still available at the BRE store for 49$ + 10$ for Pete Brock signature . Are the first 46 so called limited edition worth a premium , please advice

    This Saturday car event is only an hour or so from my home , I have gone there a few times, very nice crowd and the cars are a true show event. Here some pics from my last visit, nice to see Z's rubbing elbows with high $ classics

    On that site in order to register they ask for your EMail and password, not like other sites that ask for EMail to activate the registration.

    Nice to see that this is happening , the Z will be a low buck contender among those high/priceless classics , but hey it will be rubbing elbows and that is a good thing.

    . Like the saying goes - "you can't win if you don't enter". So hats off to the few guys that do - Carl B. Attending high profile events/shows IMO does not equal high dollars at premium auctions, the Z lacks the sizzle on that plate.

    I also share the above lines, and add IMO , these cars can not be compare/judge like a FERRARI or JAG , they are not in that league .
