  1. Eureka!! Under the rubber cover is a nice shiny bolt. The rubber cover was on pretty tight so I had to grab it with some pliers. I do, in fact, feel silly. I'd like to lie and say this was the first time I was an idiot...but sadly, that would not be true. Thanks for the help.
  2. I need a little help getting the rear suspension put back together on my 1972 240z. I took off the old front differential insulator, seen below, which has a center bolt that is fastened with a washer and nut. The new insulator, seen below, has a rubber center section where the bolt should be. Is this the right insulator? How does it attach to the cross member? Also, this project has taken me a few weeks as I got derailed with the rear control arm pin for a couple of weeks. Now my memory is fuzzy and I can't remember how I disassembled the cross member. There are two bolt holes on either side of the center hole in the front cross member. (see below circled in yellow) I don't remember anything attached here when I disassembled the cross member but it's been awhile. What attaches to these holes? Thanks for the help. Rick
