Hello Everyone! My name is Ash, I am a new member and new Z owner. I restore 1981 BMW e21 for past 4 years and last week found this beauty 1977 280Z for $1200 it was seating in the barn for past 6 years. I cleaned fuel tank, new wires, radiator, plugs, tires, brakes and etc.... Now, I have a rough idle and rich misfire. I found a hose that was plugged (bolt inside the hose) the hose goes to Timing advance distributor three way hose. Thus, I have a feeling my car is running advance all the time because of this hose. Now, I am trying to find where do I need to plug in or am I missing a component couldn't find it. Why this hose is plugged at the first place. I've spent hours and hours ended up empty handed, spent 2 hours on google nothing. Kind of frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you tons!
