I bought an Empire cover 2 yrs. ago & it's deteriorating fast. Holes, leaks, & inside flannel started coming off immediately. 7 yr. guarantee but replacement is a real task. Highlly do not recommend!
  3. I have one that's has adjustable rate. Works great. Should work for your idea. Good luck.

Was looking at the website & it says most of the bulbs (67 series) you have listed are discontinued. Doing an LED search. Any ideas?

Getting ready to do the LED thing. Steve, did you use all white or colors for different applications. Yellow-side & turn. Red-tail & clear-license & reverse. Using the same adjustable flasher that you have. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Sometimes you just pay the price. Thanks, I'll be doing this soon.

Can someone tell me the differences on the headlight wiring harness from Black Dragon vs MSA? Has to be something for that much difference in price. Would like to upgrade but am curious on comparison. Thanks any help.

Congrats on your new project. Lot of work to be done. I remember being your age and always working on cars. Still do, just with no patience.
  11. I take a look next time up that way. Thanks.
  12. Anyone know of salvage yards with the best chance for Z parts?
  13. Thanks guys! I would have screwed up a new radiator, probably in the middle of nowhere.. All of you are a wealth of info. Been a while since I had a Z and had to put up with the original stuff. Love all the upgrades available. It really helps to have the knowledge and experience of the people on this forum. I also appreciate that no one tries to talk down to you or try to make you feel like an idiot. Thanks again from Oklahoma 31-24 over Tenn..
  14. Thanks for the tip. I will be installing new alum. rad. & fans soon. Hate to have failure with new components.
  15. Why is it necessary to install rubber insulators? I have always just bolted it in.
