Getting ready to do the LED thing. Steve, did you use all white or colors for different applications. Yellow-side & turn. Red-tail & clear-license & reverse. Using the same adjustable flasher that you have. Thanks for your help.

Headlight harness upgrade
Can someone tell me the differences on the headlight wiring harness from Black Dragon vs MSA? Has to be something for that much difference in price. Would like to upgrade but am curious on comparison. Thanks any help.

Recommendation for new radiator and elctrical fan for 280Z
Thanks guys! I would have screwed up a new radiator, probably in the middle of nowhere.. All of you are a wealth of info. Been a while since I had a Z and had to put up with the original stuff. Love all the upgrades available. It really helps to have the knowledge and experience of the people on this forum. I also appreciate that no one tries to talk down to you or try to make you feel like an idiot. Thanks again from Oklahoma 31-24 over Tenn..

12v. switched source
I have the appropriate wiring harnesses to do the fans & fuel pump. They have the circuit breakers & fuses with instructions( a necessity). As always, the more I look, the more I find. The PO's mechanic wasn't much of one. That's the challenge of these older cars. Drove a '38 Chevy for years. Used to live in Kennesaw. Thanks for all you help Steve. 9 38

12v. switched source
Yes, I have a mechanical pump and the electric. I have dual Webers & had read that the mechanical would bogg down. Doing the maxifuse to upgrade from old wiring. That would also give me fused output for accessories. Just trying to bring things up to date. I really appreciate all of you help & advice. Been a while since I worked on a Z & there are so many upgrades to modernize. I was thinking of getting a switched circuit from the regulator plug, + side of the coil, or tapping into the wire from the key. Wondering which might be best? Thanks again for your help & patience with a 68 yr. old that hasn't done mechanics in a while. Trying to come up to speed.

12v. switched source
Sorry it is a '73. MSA said that I needed to wire the fuel pump separately thru a 12v. switched circuit. I am in the process of the alt. upgrade, radiator upgrade, Maxi-fuse upgrade, & rewiring the fuel pump.

12v. switched source
Where is the best place to pick up a 12v. switched source for electric fans & fuel pump. I was thinking at the of tapping off of the white/blue wire at the voltage reg. plug. Doing the MSA plug & alt. upgrade also. Diagram show this to be a 12v. switched circuit. Help greatly appreciated.

Alternator upgrade on '73 Z
Do you just unplug the electric pump/seal the disconnected ends & rewire? Do you install a fuse/circuit breaker in line with inertia switch from ingnition to pump? What is the type/best inertia switch to use. Thanks for the help.

Alternator upgrade on '73 Z
I was going to do the alternator upgrade with the Motorsport alternator upgrade plug but they said won't work on '73 becaused of electic fuel pump. I know some disconnect the electric pump but is there a way to still use it & upgrade. Does it require rewire of fuel pump? Any alternatives? Need to do this upgrade to proceed with the other standard upgrades such as radiator w/fans, updated lighting, & etc. Help deeply appreciated.
