Got the driver’s side fitted, trimmed and cleco’d in .... Decided to butt the inner rocker to the wheel well instead of tapering it in (factory). ... vs factory taper .... And test fitting the outer rocker and wheel housing (Tabco) and DIY lower door patch ... So much cleaner ... Feels like progress!!! ?

Cut out the driver’s side rocker with no additional bracing. No drama ...

Finally got some fun time ... So I decided to clean up the driver’s side and make it match the passenger’s side with some fresh metal ... Cleaned up nice...added a coat of Por15 ... Fitting and shaping ... Just need to weld her up tomorrow. Getting closer to a viable engine bay ....

Awesome! Nice work! Thanks for all the tips - I wish I would have called you on Monday LOL. So ours is a little further along than @wheee! has let on. Agreed it was a little trickier that it looks - it took a few whacks to come up with something I was even ready to send over to Mark. And I was going to call you and say "I need to know which 2/3rds of this you want" as the spacing is symmetrical but uneven on the six also. I like what you did. I will let Mark post his when he is ready.

Very cool project! Two thoughts: consider widening your base, and lowering the center of gravity...just in case she spins or seizes Hope this helps!
