Rick, a friend of mine went to Australia and got those. It is still on my car for all of the Australian Z enthusiasts. You have a really nice car by the way. Ricksaia, your avatar looks suberb. Is that your car? -Ben

That car sounds great. I bet people do a double take when they hear your red Zed coming. I love it. Action video asap. -Ben:)
  5. Matt, I really like the look of the stock front fascia as I think it looks aggressive as it is. I was asking about the spoiler because I have seen them painted both the color of the car and dark grey. I really like the look of the dark grey one as it makes the spoiler stand out and it has a nice contrast that looks very Japanese or European. Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress. Blue Z's rock!!! -Ben
  6. Wow, I have seen their add in Nostalgic Hero before. Thanks Victor for the website. I am blown away with those cars. Lets get a group of people together, go to Japan, do some site seeing, and then buy some GTR's, Z432s, and ZG's. -Ben

  10. The airdam is not my style, but the decklid spoiler looks awesome. It has a very classic look. I hope to get that spoiler for my car some time too. What color are you going to paint the decklid spoiler? -Ben

  12. Hi Will, to me, this would be sad. These cars can be preserved and driven a few thousand miles a year and still be time capsules. My neighbor has a MGTF that gets miles only through being driven on and off of the trailer for shows. Yes it is beautiful, but no kids get to see it driving around. Cars are nice at shows, but they are so much better to see on the road to me. Put the original tires and other little bits on for shows, but drive it please. My car is by no means a show car, but I maintain it meticulously and drive it about 7000 miles a year and it looks better than ever. -Ben p.s. Vicky, I said most cars probably are not bone stock. Yours definately is and I aknowledged that. Maybe there are that many bone stockers. Who am I to judge. At Z shows there are very far and few in between "bone" stockers. Is it sad? That is subjective.

  17. Should I move my car from the stock class to the modified class then? You don't have to answer. It is a rhetorical question. I highly doubt that everyone that voted in the bone stock class have by the definition "bone" stock cars. I am not saying that just about the new tires, batteries, oil filter, etc. I am saying that all of them are probably not all completely stock cars. Mick, your car looks really nice and clean. I love the red, the wheels, and the fact that you have a NISSAN V8 is just cool. Are there quite a few Z's with the 4.4.Ltr nissan V8? -Ben
  18. Are those Ford Cobra Mustang wheels on that Z? I saw a Lexus SC400 (Toyota Soarar) the other day with the 5 spoke mustang gt wheels and it looked aweful. I am not digging the wheels on this car either. I should more positive, I apologize. -Ben
  19. Mother nature is being crazy. I really hope that the people are found and that no one is hurt. How is it right near your home? Take care lachlan, Ben
  20. I have the original speaker and the output from the deck installed as of now is not great, but it is fine as I don't listen to music loud anyway. I was thinking of using the speaker bracket that is on the Classic Datsun Motorsport site, but I talked with Les and he does not carry them and I have heard that there is some fabricating to be done. I don't need it to sound great, I just want a bit of sound. Thanks for the advice Mike. I am trying to work with just the original equipment. I hope it works.
  21. I have an Alpine cd player and I really like it, but I want the original look of the oem cassette player. I have it in a box at home and on the outside it appears to be in really nice condtion, but I am worried about the internals. My goal is to have the oem am/fm tape player in the car so I can listen to the radio when I like and use the tape adapter to plug in my iPOD. What do you guys think? Is it a lost cause? Could I restore the tape player if it needs it? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. -Ben
