brembo for all around
I saw a Zed with Porsche Brembo brakes at last years MSA show and he said they cost 10k, but it was the best investment he made because the car would stop in any conditions with no fade. It looked pretty cool with porsche on the brakes behind the panasport wheel. Ben

Car deisels
I had a pretty bad exhaust leak at the exhaust flange and my run on was pretty bad. After changing the gasket there was still a slight leak due to a warped surface on the exhaust manifold, but I don't have run on any more. So yes, I do think it could be a leak at your down pipe. The run on happened to me the most when the engine was hot. Sometimes it would last for a few seconds. Ben

Ben with the Monte MINI
That is awesome Lachlan. I am a big fan of the Mk1 cars too. What kind of S does he have? BRG with the white top is very classic and very Mini. Is it a Cooper or a Morris? I sat in a very well sorted 1275 Morris Cooper S. It was very nice, but my head hit the roof because the buckets were so high. There is a fellow around where I live that has a purple Mini. It is not an Mk1 though, but it is still nice. Take care and tell your dad to restore the Mini, Ben

Location of the ZG cars?
Alan, thanks for the photos, they are great. Did many of the aftermarket G-noses have the baffles. So if I were to look under the skirt of one of these cars, a later car would have the baffles no? How many 240ZG's were made any how? I have many more questions, but I am going to restrain myself. Thanks again. Ben:classic:

Ben with the Monte MINI
I have been looking around at the local MINI dealerships to find one of these and I finally spotted one at the Concord BMW/MINI. If you don't know what this is, it is the Mini known as the MC40. It is the comemorative Mini for Paddy Hopkirk winning the Monte Carlo Rallye in 1964, and it even has "33 EJB" plates on it. Well, they are stickers. This is a lovely car, and it only comes in the S version. This particular one is #262 of 1000 that will be built. When I get out of school this is the exact car I would love to get. It will be 4 years old when I am in the market for one, hopefully. Of course I would have to get the "Works" version. Does any of you members own a Mini old or new currently or previously? If so, tell me about it. I hope you like it. hehehehe

Z Babe
There seems to be more hits on pictures with girls in them rather than Z's. I thought this was a Z site. I think it is more a girl enthusiast site that like to post pics of Z's. j/k

any z licence plate ideas?
Hey HLS30.com, I just ordered the plates last night, so it is going to be 8-12 weeks. errrrr

Location of the ZG cars?
You guys also have to note that the baffles were both offered and not offered from the factory. I am not sure where it is, but in Alan's gallery there are some photos of the lower valences of FACTORY ZG's without the baffles. I am not trying to be picky, just telling you guys what I know. Which is very little. -Ben

Fairlady interior
You did it again. Thank you so much. I am a little bit of a Fairlady Z nut since I never get many chances to see these cars. This interior looks spotless. I was curious about the fog lamps wether they were factory or not. Thank you, Ben

RHD Fairlady
Hey Wayne, would you happen to have more pictures of this car too? I hope it is not too much trouble. Interior shots would be good too. If you don't have any pics, thanks for these ones. Ben

Northern Cali meet: yes another one!!
The meet time and destination is settled. We are going to have a meet this coming Saturday, being the 22nd of May. We are going on a drive up Mt. Hamilton. It is in San Jose and we are going to be meeting at the closest spot to park once getting off on the Alum Rock exit off of the 680 Freeway. It should be a great meet. So far the attendants are Dreco, 280z, and myself. I know, there are only a few of us, but the more the better, so Zlishous and Ares, if you guys can come it would be that much more awesome. Anyone is invited. If anyone needs anymore details on the meet, pm me and I will try to send you info as soon as possible or I can send you my Cell#. Take care, Ben p.s. Don't be shy, come to the meet because the drive is going to be great.

I was planning to get plates for my car with the model designation on them and this picture pushed me even more to get them. I got "RLS30" plates for my car, since it is a 260Z. Nice plates!

Historic Rally Monte Carlo 2004
I was reading about this historic rally in the May 2004 "MiniWorld" magazine and it stated that the highest placed UK team was of Tony Fall and Mike Kempley in a 240Z. They placed 53rd out of 276 that completed the rally; there were 351 entrants. Their car number is no. 45. I was trying to open one of the pictures of the car, but the page had expired. It is a red zed with no black hood and it has a drop bumper with 2 huge night driving lights. Ben

1965 Silvia for sale in the UK
I was browsing through this month's "Classic Car and Thoroughbred" magazine and there was a small add for a 1965 Nissan Silvia for sale. It was being offered at 5000UK and the article stated that it was the only one of its kind in the UK. I wish I had pictures, but it did look in need of a restoration. I just thought this might be interesting. Ben
