Polished up my swastikas today
It looks like you did a nice job polishing your wheels. I am curious how you polished them because in two weeks a will be off for spring break and I was planning to polish my wheels during that time. Any help would be great. Thanks, Ben

Homegrown Hotrod
I totally agree with what these guys said about your car. It looks great!!! I am not for many mods on Z's, but you executed everything very nicely. The paint looks as smooth as glass. I think your car should be the next month's Z of the month. Take care and enjoy your Z. Maybe sometime we will have that drive. Just pm me. Take care, Ben

Very rare 240Z emblem
I have looked at a lot of pictures of Fairlady Z's and many of them have datsun emblems. In my opinion Dr. Suzuki's Z is one of the nicest. I would love to see more pictures of his car. -Ben

Final 2
Your car looks pretty sweat Craig. I didn't think I was going to like those wheels, but now seeing it all together they look really sharp. I love how you left the car simple with the non-vented airdam and derubbered bumpers. Great work! It looks better than the car that inspired you to do this to yours. How do the pillar vents work? I see you put the 1970 emblems on. Nice touch. Take care, Ben

Steel Wheels?
This looks like a nice set, but with the shipping cost it seems like it would be too much unless they are in really good shape. Good luck on finding a set. http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/ads/wfs-08.html P.S. You should post some pics of your 260 bobbovine. I would love to see how other peoples 260's look as only 14 percent of classiczcar members own one. That is great that you are making it stock. I am trying to keep mine as original as possible. :classic: -Ben

fairlady's caps
Hello kats, the style of these hubcaps look like the very early style for Fairlady Z and later style for the 2/2 Z-L, but not HS30 because they got the hubcap that the US 240z got in 1971. I am not sure on this, but correct me if I am wrong. I always want to learn more. Nice photo, I have never seen a pic of set of these in so much detail. -Ben

US spec 260z
Thanks for your kind comment Alfa. Your car sure is coming along quite nicely. Maybe someday you can unite a Z with your KPCG110 Replica again:teeth:. Take care, Ben

Wheel trims...the BEST
These are beautiful. I am not in the market for them, but if someone wants the best wheel trims for z 71-76 here they are. 2manyZs, I know you want these. The seller is probably asking an arm and a leg. They are well worth it. Enjoy!!! Are you going to go for a modified Z or a factory original? Nice work. One day I will do this to mine. -Ben

Found: Z with a G nose
I think you are asking how can one tell if it was a factory 240zg or a Z with a g-nose. 1st giveaway if it is a 240zg is that it MUST be RHD. 2nd is that all 240zg's were painted either GP red, GP maroon, or GP white. 3rd the vin # must start with HS30-. Even with all of this it does not insure that one has found a true 240ZG from the factory, but if any of these are not there than you know it is not a Fairlady 240zg. If you ever do get to see a g-nose in person, look at the nose, is it one piece? Or does it look like it is made of separate headlight buckets, top panel, bumper, and under front thingie. I don't know the lingo. Anyways, back to 240zg. The 240zg had a 5-piece nose, oh and don't forget the dark grey bolt on fender flares. If you are more interested I could send you some pictures and tell you everything I know about the 240zg. I do not know a whole lot, but I am trying to learn. Member HS30-H has an exceptional example of a factory 240ZG. Just type HS30-H in the search bar for gallery and you will see what one looks like. I hope I helped to answer your question. -Ben:classic:

Wantanabe Price?
Does it have to be a GTR to be a skyline? My bad, I don't know a whole lot about skylines. I am learning. Hehehehe. Thanks for the correction Kyteler.

1971 240z G Nose Fairlady Right Hand Drive
I have seen this car in person. It is not a 240zg, it is a fairlady z(s30) either Z or Z-L. The g-nose itself is actually a very nice one. I am not sure if it was a factory g-nose, but it was a 5-piece with the very hard to find headlight covers with chrome trim. This car is not my cup of tea and for that price one could find a very nice original 240ZG in Japan. -Ben

Wantanabe Price?
That is some awesome dish Greenmonster!!! A Z would need some nice flares for those. I love your 1st gen skyline by the way.

Wantanabe Price?
You can get spacers to put on a z to install these wheels, but I am not fond of this watanabe style. I believe these are called th F-8. I think these were made when Watanabe was owned by another company, but I am not sure on that. Yeah, I think you should go with a 0 to +12 14 by 6.5J. These are way to negative. The single piece wheels look better on a Z in my opinion. Take care, Ben

For Interest Only (Toyota 2000GT)
Thanks Kats for the great information. Was the 2300cc engine a toyota or yamaha design? Was the 2300 only made for export? Thanks again, Ben

For Interest Only (Toyota 2000GT)
I am with you Alfa, the car definately looks better with that sleek roof. Alan, I assume that they made it in LHD also for export. Were these cars ever exported? Take care everyone, Ben
