I actually just bought a clock. It is a callender rally clock. Once I it comes in the mail I will post some pictures of it. hahaha. Now what I'm looking for is a rally gear shift knob. As anyone can tell I am a rally nut. Thanks, Ben

I have 72 su's on my 260 and the linkage or the throttle cable (or some other cause that I don't know) seems to be sticking. I am not sure which one, but when ever I am in 1st or 2nd gear the car jumps when I step on the throttle because something is sticking. The only reason I think it might be the linkage on the su is because when the engine is warmed up it is not as sticky. My dad talked to a datsun mechanic and he said that many z's are like this or worse. The way it feels when I drive I know that there has to be some way to fix it. It could be as simple as lubricating the carb linkage or changing the throttle cable, but if you have any ideas or your are experiencing this your self please tell me. Thank you. - Ben

This is a digi q micro rc car. It runs off of IR instead of normal radio frequency. It is less than 2'' long and has a range of 15-30 feet. It is an indoor rc because it is so small that it bounces around on the pavement if ran outside. I run mine in the garage. Charge it for 10min and run for about 10min. Very fun toy. -
Ok, so it's not the real thing, But it is a really fun desk toy.

I haven't started the project yet, but I am looking at the Hayes book and regarding the electronics can I just unhook the old clock and hook up the new one or is there more to it because I dont want to blow a fuse or anything else? Thanks, Ben

I have not done much work with cars, and I am just wondering how in depth of a project is removing the dash to swap a clock? If anyone can tell me what to watch out for and what would be the best way to carry this out it would be a great help. Its a early 74 260. Thanks. -Ben

Was the calender clock ever offered in a datsun perforamnce catalog or was it in certain cars?

Does this 240 have any rally history because it looks like it has the same paint scheme as a 260 of that era that was rallying. Nice pic. I love rally cars. I just bought a rally clock, its a start. THanks. -
I just bought a clock with a calander. The seller claims that it does not need the oscillator box. Is this a type of rally clock? Do you know what the fuction of its sale was for? Thank you. -Ben

I always had this impression that on the rally clocks there was a timer. Then I talked to someone who had one and they said it just has a calender and no timer. It was for a 74-76 Z. Is this true?

I am pretty sure that is the original one, I am not positive though. I have seen that particular pattern with the green quite a lot. Thanks for the input.
