83 280zx 2+2 = $500
the chassis has alot of rust, we did a brake job on it & had a hard time finding a strong lift point for the jack - so the body is beyond repair (so i believe). the motor & tranny are great so it's a good parts car that is driveable right now. i do not wanna take it apart myself, would prefer buyer to drive away in it. no IMs or emails cuz i'm going out-of-town for next 3weeks, so call my cell 512-913-4887 in Austin, TX $500

Super2ner was worth it on TNN
both shows had Ds/Ns...Adam Corolla had a replica of the '71 BRE along w/ John Morton, the winning driver of the orig race car. they went into the Nissan Dream Garage & talked about the 1st Fairlady & focused on Steve Millen & his career, the IMSA car from '88 & then ended it w/ the Irwindale Speedway Drift contest. & the "The Run" of the 350Z was shown on Sat's show, it was at least 3mins long. all i can say is that if you missed it, the show may get rerun next weekend, 12:30pmEastern/11:30amCentral on Saturday & 12pm/11am on Sunday - TNN is known to mix up the import shows.

wanna turbo my 280ZX n/a
i hav a 280ZX n/a...i wanna go turbo. i hav heard statements about just buying the turbo motor & install it. but if the CR is 8.X:1 & the ZXturbo is 7.X:1, all modern engines use 8.X:1 for turbos...why can't i use my orig. motor & put a turbo header, custom FMIC & rebuild the fuel system + turbo ECU? Honda guys do it?

Screen Names - Where Do They Come From?
VTECseoul, by the powers of Nissan, has mutated into 280steveX i just bought the 280ZX last month, my name is Stephen & this is a Z board; therefore i used a simple name & put it in place of the Z. if you don't know what a Z car is then stop breathing right now. i was previously VTECseoul on other boards, and that comes from the Accord my wife drives & i had planned to modify. the Accord has a VTEC engine and i am Korean, the capitol of South Korea is called Seoul, thus the old SN.

My 1970 Fairlady Z
that is tight as hell, an orig FairLadyZ - sad about the vandalism, but then a life stored in a garage is boring. at least this 1 ran around & has a story to tell.

HKS exhaust on 280ZX 2+2
i went to a local shop & they found HKS makes an exhaust for the 280ZX, but it doesn't specify whether it's for the coupe or 2+2. i read thru the Victoria-British catalog & they mention an "adaptor pipe." is this the difference between the 2 cars? i know any exhaust shop can fab the right size pipe, just wanna know if i gotta tell the shop to do this, or will HKS add it?.
