Your front frame rails may look like mine did behind the pinch welds... I added new frame rails and rebuilt all the sheet metal.

Looking for a 240Z
If you're looking for a tastefully and meticulously built restomod 240, talk to @zKars about his beauty. Excellent value in a driveable solid car. Not a "survivor" but a better than original daily driver that looks and runs great. ...and Safari Gold is the colour you're referring to I believe.

1976 280Z Restoration Project
Wow, thanks! Of all the builds on this forum, I am deeply humbled. Lots of great projects here. I am really looking forward to being home soon to work on the car again. Lots of great project mods to come too. Finish sound deadening, complete carpet kit, Electric power steering, aftermarket air conditioning, heated seat rebuild, power windows and locks, aftermarket EFI, retro sound system and amplifiers, dash gauge mods, dash rebuild, HID headlights, custom engine rebuild, neon underbody glow kit.................... just kidding on the last one!

I love it! Hope it brings a good dollar. It looks immaculate. I expect a price over $25,000 for this one if the right people are there.

What was the other one like? Or wait, was that just meaning the two VIN codes for the same car?

Quick question, which part of the tank gets the thick pads, the high or the low part?

Looks great! Did you get new tank straps from Skillard too? I ordered a set with my Techno Toy order for my 76 and they are fantastic quality. If you order some, make sure you specify the year of the car several times. They shipped me the wrong ones twice. Third time is the charm I hope! Here is the 70-74 size next to my original 75-76 strap set.
