Maybe if the dollar ever hits par again.... but add 30% to those prices plus international shipping and... yikes!

Overnight from Japan if we have to....

Now package it back up and ship it to me....
  6. I bought this cover loose off kijiji. No idea which model engine it came off.

    Unwrap that hottie!
  8. That looks about right. I also noticed a fair amount of sealant around the baffle edges. I will have to look at one of the complete units I have to see just which areas are supposed to be sealed. Either way, the baffle does a good job of keeping wet oil away from the breather and vapour flowing freely. I will be putting steel wool in the fitting regardless to work as a flame arrest/oil separator.
  9. These pictures baffle me...

I have all the old lines as a reference.
  11. Loctite those screws.... you don't want them vibrating loose into the engine!

Placed my order with B-Quiet Sound Deadener Ordered 3 rolls of 12" x 50' (150 sq ft) of the ultimate butyl sound deadener plus 13.5 sg ft of VComp foam insulator mat. Total cost around $600 Cdn. A much better value than Dynamat I believe! I will post pics of the install etc when I get to that stage.
  13. No, I will get you one and post it up!
  14. Have you listed this on HybridZ? This is more their style.... and I agree, unfortunately I think it is too much as well. For most of us purists here, we see all the body filler and repair work that would have to be done to restore it to a stock configuration: a Classic Z Car.... But to someone out there, it is exactly what they are looking for! Hope you find them!

I ordered: 50' of 3/16" 50' of 5/16" 25' of 1/4" 10 x 10mm x 1.0 Fittings $195 shipped (US funds) Greggs in Edmonton wanted almost $750 (Cdn) I should have extra material for mistakes this way I decided to go 5/16 for two reasons. I wanted to use the custom rubber fittings Eurodat made me, and I don't plan on building a performance engine anytime soon. If I do need more flow, I can address that later. Plus cost. 3/8" tubing is significantly more money.

Nevermind! Another Canadian to the rescue! Granny is sending me his fancy tool to use for the lines! What a swell guy
  17. It sits under the stock baffle out of the way of spray. No change in function, just location. I will route to a catch can on the firewall. Then back into the regular flow of crankcase ventilation.

I know all about you and your fancy tool.... send it to me!

25' rolls for me to cut to length. I prefer that I think. The CuNi tube is easy to manipulate and will flare easily.
  20. I used the existing baffle and tapped the side of the valve cover.

Heads up! If you're looking for copper nickel brake lines, both in Canada and the US, try The Stop Shop... Just ordered all the lines I need to replace my brake and fuel systems for under $200 US shipped! Local suppliers were quoting as high as $750! Looking forward to seeing this stuff in person. http://Www.thestopshop.com
  22. My thread has all the steps up to the POR for the floor boards. I haven't installed the sound mat yet. POR hardens with moisture but I don't anticipate any interior leaks. Moisture will come from wet boots etc, but I don't anticipate any wet cold weather use for this car! If anything gets through the floor mat, then the jute, then the butyl foam sound barrier, then the foil butyl sound mat, and THEN through the steel reinforced POR.... rust might happen. But I doubt it.
