  1. I'm looking at $40,000+ here in Canadian funds...
  2. But of course...

    Yikes! $10 each?

New tab covers? Didn't know they existed. I thought they were dipped. Heat shrink would look goofy.
  5. Ugh, you're killing me....

I picked up some more spare parts this weekend too. A set of taillights and surrounds plus two good valve covers. That will allow me to do some experimenting with the paint or polish finish.

I think I will clean them up, spray them body colour, then re-plastidip them. I think that will look okay. Some are broken...
  8. That's what I wanted to hear! Interested in making a prototype for the standard grill crowd?
  9. all good! Just busting your beans...
  10. Mine is the same as Hazmatts. On the lower rad support. Or would be if they weren't cut off already... Patcon? Updates?
  11. Do you think this could be modified to support the 240Z bumper too?
  12. Yes. I have the evap tank too...
  13. And why there is a shortage of them....
  14. 9/75 production build 1976 280Z
  15. Excellent idea Chas! Mine is definitely like the top photo, 1976 I wonder what the thin indent (offset) was for? It has screw mounting points too... My plan is to fill it in during the bodywork.

Got inspired by my last post and blasted the tranny and the taillight panel tonight!
  17. So I am definitely getting rid of the slope back floor then on my 76! Sounds like I will need that plastic finisher panel then too. Edit: had a look at the slope panel in the shop last night. It's still under a ton of other parts on the shelves, but I can see where it has been hacked up around the back edge. Definitely not a straight edge. Looks like someone tried to make it fit around the interior where it wasn't supposed to go. I guess I will have to replace that regardless. I will probably try and build one from scratch before trying to order one in from the states.
  18. It looks just like your sloped deck... If I can replace it with a flat one I will.
  19. The car is stripped and on the rotisserie right now.... I don't have a pic of the sloped deck on my phone either. Full size spare tire too. It is possible the PO picked up a sloped deck sometime in the car's life and replaced the original too...
  20. Is this going to end up in our options to post with video embedded?
  21. hmmmm. My 9/75 build 1976 280Z has the sloped deck too....

More progress albeit slow. Door frames are done along with inner cowling and windshield moulding. Taillight area still to do along with the interior. Feels like I am getting closer to being done with the media blasting. At least of the frame. I will blast a few larger parts while I have the tent setup. The new tranny for one and the front crossmember come to mind. Oh well. I'm in no rush I guess!
  23. Congrats and welcome!
