My Datsun 280Z "Rustoration"
It's running... But that's it. I just landed in New Brunswick for a month long course. The garage rebuild starts when I get back in May. Then the teardown!!! Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device....

Great progress Matt! I'm surprised you didn't go with the HID headlight upgrade tho... After having them in my other cars I can't go back to halogen! Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device....

Caswell Plating
Awesome thread idea Patcon. I will be buying the Caswell kit this year too. I already have a 240v 60amp power supply so I should be good there. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your progress! Mark

HellFire Status & release date annouced
I am fortunate to be in the beginning stages of my resto, so I can wait a while for this. BUT, it would be great to have it tested and proven on the street while I'm waiting! Sent from my iPizzle ringy dingy device....

1976 280Z Restoration Project
No where on the same level as your first start video, but i sure feel better knowing the major mechanical systems are all functioning before teardown. The only system not giving me a reading was temp sensor and I didn't get a chance to check the electrical connection. Car stayed at around 1700 rpm at idle so some minor issues there. Heater controls, clock, voltmeter, alternator, lights etc all worked. Wiper motor struggled to move but failed so it probably needs some love too. All in all I have a solid baseline now. Checked the AAR and the fuel relay. All is good there and the pump circuit is energized. Either the wiring harness or the pump is the issue at this point. I had to stop where I was as I had some company 'helping' me today... my grandson! Say hello to Ryker!
