1976 280Z Restoration Project
Yes, will paint the insides of the panels and hidden sides. Then I will mount them as per the factory and line them up as best as possible. Then I will do the final body work and blocking and sanding. Then final paint and clear. That should result in a finished car with the best possible body lines and gaps. It should also result in a good coverage of the metallic green paint.

1976 280Z Restoration Project
This is my first car restoration project and I have taught myself everything so far. Welding, bodywork, painting, mechanical, electrical. Nothing is impossible if you have a good attitude and are willing to take the time to learn how to do things. Often, being a neophyte lets you tackle jobs others never want to do again... (spindle pins, coil overs!). Ignorance can be bliss!

The pins fit identical. No need to worry about covering them. You can tape over the holes with 3M mounting tape and not worry about welding or filling them in. They will be sealed and primed and should not rust any faster with the tape over them. That way you can change you mind later. Also, in Canada, we can still buy the 280Z fender emblems new for about $30 US... Can't get the DATSUN fender emblems new from the dealer anymore though.

1976 280Z Restoration Project
As Patcon said, minimal. I ended up buying a new driver side fender from Nissan (which fits good) a few years ago and then tried to reuse the passenger side. It was too far off to mount properly without a lot of cutting and welding around the headlight bucket, so luckily another used fender appeared courtesy of @ConVerTT and I was able to get it to fit very well. It is a Taiwanese re-stamp. New ones vary in the width of the bowing out from the centre line it seems and can be massaged back into line. I find that all panels need some sort of massaging....

The spray bomb cans are better than regular spray paint, but no where near the same as being able to spray from HVLP guns for consistency and quality. POR will do too, but the under hood area will be highly visible when the hood is open, so I am going for a proper colour finish in that area. EDIT: If your car is black or very dark green, you may be able to get away with more....mine will be too light to hide POR

New Micro Big Brake Kit
Techno Toy Tuning has released a micro BBK that fits under 14” wheels! Even some 13’s according to their site! Looks cool and should allow people to run vintage Watanabe style wheels. https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/240z/240z-micro-big-brake-kit

FYI - 240Z Dashboards
Just a heads up for those awaiting a dash like me.... I spoke to Vintage Dashes by email today and their manufacturer has an issue with their machinery and there was no delivery last week. Still waiting to hear when it will be back in production. I am waiting for my 280 dash at the moment.
