I have friends who have dealt with these guys before and ordered parts for our 370Z's. I didn't know they were making stuff for the S30's as well! Even with slow shipping, half the price of a new dash in stock form is pretty enticing!

So I saw this today.... how have I not seen THIS before!!! wow! http://www.carbonsignalauto.com/product/s30-dashboard-door-panel/ I have emailed them asking for more info, as I can't believe this package sells for $500....
  5. Here's an example of how I replicated a difficult curved area with small pieces welded together. Bulldog curve

I’m not an expert on the 240 by any stretch but I was under the impression the 240 often didn’t have a rear anti sway bar. No where can I see mentioned that the stock bar from a 280 won’t work with the AZC dog bone. Then again, I can’t find a reference to a different bar other than the pictures showing an ST anti sway.

This is the effect I’m trying for

So.... road block. I was tying to hook up the rear anti sway bar with the rear mount AZC dog bone and realized that the stock bar is way too long (from the back of the bar) to the TTT rear lower control arm mounting points. Is it safe to assume I need a special rear anti sway for rear mounting (instead of in front of the diff)?
  13. Congrats on the fault finding Jim! It must have been those free popsicles in Edmonton that got the diagnostic juices flowing!

Check out my thread and consider the CX Racing coilovers. A little cutting and welding but nothing too hard. My cost in Canada was under $1500, probably under $1000 in the states.
  16. Butyl versus asphalt I believe My Ultimate install was crazy sticky.
  17. Have you tried the “ultimate” butyl product from B-quiet?

    240 or 280?

Cool. I have done this mod on other cars (not Z's) and have already sourced a Gentex mirror with Homelink for the 280. Nicely done!

How about some more info on your rear view mirror mod?

My pads were in rough shape with little to no rubber pad left on them when I stripped the car. I will replace the rubber when I reassemble.
  23. Looks great Jim! Love that your spending some time with this car and I am looking forward to seeing it in Edmonton on Sunday! Wish I could bring mine along to the show as well, but then it would be a trailer restoration!

I’m really loving this setup and colour combo. The fluorescent lights cast the green a little more yellow than it is, but ... wow!
