2010 Black Rose Sport Coupe, heavily modified (thread online in my signature for both cars) 1976 (9/75 production) 280Z resto-mod in progress The 280Z will be close to the original green colour code 240, but is a water based metallic green 2335. It is the front colour on the test panel below. The only ceramic coating I have done is to the exhaust tips of my 370, which is a ceramic powder coat. I am very happy with the results of the water paint on the 280. If you use a ceramic based paint on the car, the chance of ever doing a paint repair are non-existent...

Driving a 370Z and fixing a 280Z... No Z nationals for me.. ☹️

I have decided not to go the sunroof route but to install an LED panel in the headliner that I can load images of the open sky onto it! All the benefits and none of the depreciation!

Where would you place the performance of the Janspeed style headers? Above street and below performance? Tube diameter? I am very intrigued by their design! Would it still fit my 280Z? No firewall issues etc?

I have ordered a phantom grip style clutch spring pack for the open 3:90 diff. I know it is a weak system but I don’t plan on tracking the car or doing burnouts. I just want both wheels to turn when I need them too! ... flame suit on, roast away....

Next up, powder coat the diff! New seals on order and the bearings have been cleaned and prepped for reinstall.

Well, that's numbers matching! Well, if I call Dave, he has (or will have) the Datsunworks kit as part of his monster builds. Then I could have the entire engine built and ready to drop in! Yes, I have seen them and drooled, then realized my beer bottle pocket has no room for champagne tastes!
