Looks great! I will have to see how mine fares.- 1976 280Z Restoration Project
Thanks. I would rather do it right the first time than try and take it apart later to correct something I should have done properly at the time. The car is getting closer for sure. The body work should be done this fall/winter and that hopefully leaves me enough time to get the interior done by summer. The drivetrain is complete other than wiring so that shouldn’t be too much of an issue now. My list of parts to buy is getting smaller all the time. I just have to stop looking...- A dumb question...

Congrats! I see your car and look at my stack of invoices and realize I should have just bought a rebuilt car like yours or @zKars a long time ago... Oh well, more fun in doing it yourself but waaaaaaay more money!- 1976 280Z Restoration Project
Picked up another gallon of DTM 2k Epoxy and a little more of the E2335 green. I will try and get the untreated panels completed as well as paint all the jambs and panel insides before mounting all the panels for final bodywork. I also ordered my Vintage Dash from @theguppies this morning! Hope to see that soon as well. Some other small parts have accumulated too. A couple of battery clamps with multiple wire feed mounts. Some black silicone radiator hoses. Some wire terminal blocks for the Haltech wiring harness assembly.- FYI - 240Z Dashboards
Time to order! Send me a PM and let’s get this dash up to the frozen north before the snow!- A dumb question...

I can see this being helpful for those looking to manage their engine performance especially with COP and ignition timing.- New Haltech ECU for Carb'd engines
Not sure where to put this so here it is: https://www.haltech.com/product-overview-elite-vms-and-vms-t/ Now you can get a Haltech system for a carb'd engine setup without paying for all the Fuel Injection features you don't need.- Source for BRAND NEW Gear Reduction Starters

Don’t show this to@convertt Wish I would have seen this 4 years ago. My rad support was pretty crappy.- A legal and ethics question
In my case, the car will have none of the original running gear (engine, transmission, diff, complete front and rear suspension, gas tank, brakes and brake lines) along with new fenders, replaced quarters, new frame rails, new floors, new seats and dash, half the glass, body work and paint. What would the original odometer refer to that the production date doesn’t already state? The 15% of the car that is still original?- A legal and ethics question
In the military, we reset odometers all the time. Add a new odometer or change an engine etc. We add a small sticker to the dash indicating the previous reading. I plan on documenting the change in the build book that will accompany the car beyond my passing as it will never be sold.- A legal and ethics question
I have no issue resetting an odometer for a restomod AS LONG AS the vehicle has been COMPLETELY restored, new engine build etc. And then, full disclosure that the vehicle has been reset and a record of the original reading has been kept. With the 5 digit odometer, it’s often difficult to tell if it’s 20,000 or 120,000 or 220,000 miles on a car! Well, maybe not the 20,000 miles! [emoji1] Is it legal? Yes because the mileage has never been registered along with the vehicle, and I have no proof that the speedo/odometer is the original unit AND I do not plan on selling the vehicle. Ever. Is it ethical? Yes with full disclosure IMHO- How not to market your Z products
Sorry, the mobile app shows the “throwing up” emoji.... - Waterproofing a Fuse Block
