I actually found them on eBay. They are flow tested and re-manufactured and the price was too good to pass up. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/6x-high-impedance-Fuel-injector-23250-45011-For-1979-1988-TOYOTA-2-6L-2-8L-V6/273404653167?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I emailed the seller and got a good response and I am hoping that this will make the Haltech system a little happier. I have heard that the high impedance injectors perform better with the newer ECU's and the low impedance ones I rebuilt myself can always be installed if I am unhappy with these ones.
  2. Had me excited for a minute... Sherwood Park is 20 minutes from my house. Sherwood Oregon is a little further lol

Decided to order a set of high impedance 11mm injectors for the car. The factory Cressida injectors are low impedance and the ones I have ordered will work better with the Haltech system. Same 300cc size which should be more than enough for the stroker.

I have the stainless steel ones now too. Very nice and no holes!

There are repros available but they are not cheap. Good originals are even rarer and not cheap. Dented and bent rusted ones are plentiful. I sold a set this weekend for $160 US to young guy trying to restore a car. He will need to spend a few hundred to have them cleaned up and painted and many more hundred if he wants them rechromed.
  6. On its way to you Monday... !

Pulse width dimmer modules can be used. PWD units. Pretty easy to source.
  8. Canada got the federal... I should have that model.

    Wow...
  10. I might have a couple.... I'll check when I get home. Might be cheaper for shipping if you find one more local.

Got it already! It’s a GM version and is designed for the zcardepot adapter plate that is on its way to me now.
  12. I’ve had one for a while. Work great but hard to get a good selection of the sanding belts. They don’t last long when you catch an edge.

Received the intake air temp sensor for the Haltech harness along with a Bosch style fuel injector wiring kit that I couldn’t pass up. $25 basically for a nice soft rubber 6 connector kit! The IAT was only $35 too so not too bad!
  14. The 76 throttle body is still pretty puny. If you’re looking to gain air flow and performance you will not be able to run the stock ecu... Negative effects of the ZX intake? Not tracking.
  15. If you do anything to improve air flow and volume, you will need a new ecu... But that is a great way to improve performance. Especially if you add a Borla TWM throttle body and port match the head and intake.
  16. Very nice collection of cars. We never see that many together at once up here.

Ordered a few more parts. Cold air intake piping and filter, intake air temp sensor, fuel pressure sensor, throttle position sensor adapter plate, t-bolt clamps and a bunch of miscellaneous necessities. So many “small” things still needed.

Oh wow... I would have removed the front fender to do all that work too.... Other than that, it looks like good progress!

Nice car club meeting last night! Good to see all the cars out between these last 30 days of rain...

I made three pullers and they literally self destructed trying to make any difference to the spindle pin. A puller will work on a ‘loose’ pin. It will have zero luck on a ‘stuck’ pin. See my thread for pics of the exploded pullers.

Probably a while. All the wiring harness is still out and needing splicing with the Haltech, the push button ignition system, the coolant system isn’t started yet... probably next year still. The body work and paint is still next.
