Ron Tyler (RT) differential mount dimensions
Then you must pity us poor Commonwealthers with the Cdn or Aus dollar! Trading at $1.32 Cdn for the US dollar and 1.64 Cdn for the Pound! Then add shipping, duty, brokerage and taxes..... Not looking forward to my future UK purchases for interior pieces that seem to be available only in the UK. ?

1976 280Z Restoration Project
Thank you but I can’t take credit for originality. All of my inspiration has come from the masters on this forum. My skills are hard earned from trial and error, but my confidence comes from seeing truly great cars being restored by the great forum members we are so truly blessed to associate with.

My RT style mount with the GM "hanger" mount was modded a slight amount and now sits at the same height as stock angle.

300hp out of L28 non turbo
In the end, it's not the numbers that matter to me. I am more about the torque in the mid range and the balance of power throughout the RPM range. Having a stroker with 89mm pistons, stage 3 cam and forged internals hopefully will deliver in this area. Adding the Haltech with sequential fire and dwell control, injection pulse width and duration, variable advance timing etc will certainly help reach the numbers I am looking for.

Interesting. I am looking forward to having my engine dyno'd when done. It is a Stroker 3100cc out of @zKars old car and will have new life with a fuel injection system, Coil on Plug spark, Crank Angle Sensor and Haltech ECU. I am hoping to get close to these numbers with some fine tuning on the dyno.

Beautiful day finally here on Edmonton for our annual car show!- 1976 280Z Restoration Project
Some more work modifying the lower heat shield to align the throttle cable linkage. I think I should have enough distance for the SS cable to be safe from any heat related damage. This pic shows the hole I opened in the heat shield for the cable to pass through to the "wheel guide" I made. The heat shields will be powder coated when complete. This pic shows the side view and the washer I welded into place to retain the cable and locking collar for tension on the cable. You can also see the slotted hole which will serve as the tensioner on the wheel guide. From here, you can see the path of the cable will align to under the throttle body to allow the cable to "pull" the butterfly open in a smooth arc.- "Brand new" 280Z
What is the manufacture date on the door jamb? Even rarer if it was made before August 76...- 1976 280Z Restoration Project
