1974 260z One Owner Silver Original 55k original miles
The sunroof is the biggest issue for sure. That’s a $5000 fix at a body shop. I don’t want to disparage the OP’s thread because I love to see these great cars selling for more each year. I’m sure the market will reflect what the car is worth in the end. Sight unseen, I would peg a 260 in “great” condition at $15-20,000 Cdn. With a sunroof, between $10-15,000 Cdn. In the end, I hope the OP is happy with what he is able to get for it!

Wow! Hope you get your price... don’t know if I’ve ever seen a 260 go that high before! Pics would help.

I spoke to Rahail after the article came out. His bespoke parts are not for individual sale... too bad! He has some great stuff!

Thanks for the thoughts Site, we appreciate it. I also like to pass my thanks to the spouses of serving members. They put up with a lot from us and often suffer more from lack of information while we are deployed than anyone knows. They know we are in danger, yet don’t hear from us for weeks at a time or more. Here’s to them too!

1976 280Z Restoration Project
Took the EZ strip wheels to the hatch and finished it up tonight. Some light sanding to do, a little oil can removal, and then primer. Started cleaning up the old passenger fender. Spent the night removing the undercoating from the inside of the panel. Hopefully this is the very last of the undercoating!!!

Who makes the best repair panels
Be specific. Which panel. There is no one supplier for everything.

Where to go with this rusthole
I have always stripped to bare metal as a point of procedure rather than necessity in every case. Sometimes it is a waste of my effort as the repair was well done, other times I find a problem that would have only gotten worse. Peace of mind is worth it in the long run...

New boxes
I have lots of Vidmar cabinets at work that are unused or under used. The problem is the military won’t/can’t sell them to us so they get crushed or scrapped for metal recycling. Everyone is afraid of what to do with the money from selling them, or worse yet giving them away! Public funds create administrative nightmares. In the end, they sit around till they are decommissioned and crushed. Very sad. We do have a lot of serviceable ones that we use daily though! Love em.

50th Anniversary Edition Thread
If the wing was to be minimized, the canards and ground effects made more subtle and the ride height brought back to reality.... this would be a winner in the sales department. Even a Singer style interior would be a hit I think!

50th Anniversary Edition Thread
The link I posted is an actual build thread. A one off custom race car. However... he is going to make molds for the panels for people to build the same kit!

Custom Interior
Interesting. Are you building racing replicas? Nismo headrests?
