Why Toyota Four Runner Brakes?
have had two conversions on my 240z first went with the hilux or for runner calipers for solid discs nice easy conversion just bolt straight on good for upgrade and normal street work with good pads Since then have gone for the vented hilux for runner calipers of with falcon vented discs and carbon fibre pads from Gtr calipers god do they stop well still using standard master cylinder but had to cut caliper mounts off strut and make new ones which i bolted to the orginal disc cover plate holes which were tapped out to 10 mm bolts sure stops well now just dont stomp on them first time flatted spotted one set of tyres. had 15x245x50 tyres on my car they always scrapped just a little even with the lips cut and tapped up annoyed the wizz out of me so i did the conversion s mentioned earlier raising spring perches and buy new inners for my mags Simmons so they where 15"x8" instead of 15"x7" worked a treat no scraps still looked good only problem came when i went to get new tyres seems know body makes 15x245x50 any more so i had to change wheels back to 7"and fitt 15x50x225 still handles good but just dosent look the same Mad Mick

you can fit 245 under a 240 by raising spring perch and fitting different springs 280zx springs cut down give standard height otherwisw get lowered springs works a treat just cut spring perch off move it up and weld it back on can get accurate figures out of book by JTR on v8 conversion for zed Mad Mick
