Is this check valve important?
EC-25 shows basically the same test as what Ron attached in post #4. I wanted to show the description of a 1978, however, since it is slighlty different from the ZX EECS.

A "what would you offer thread"
One more time: It's just an observation. Surely you can see how I or anyone else would come to such a conclusion. I'm not wrong; niether are you. You said 'what would you offer'. I pretty much said 'I wouldn't'. I'm not trying to change your mind; don't try to change mine. I'll say nothing else on this subject.

A "what would you offer thread"
Please don't take this the wrong way but your opinion seems to be the only one that matters in your threads. To me, Andrew didn't come off as being offended. He merely stated his opinion.

How to identify bad alternator
That may be true but I'm talking about a 78 as was she in that case. I'm just saying basically, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' based on my experience with my 78.

A "what would you offer thread"
I just think that if I can see that must rust just by looking at the pictures there's no need for me to take a closer look. JMO.

Is $900 too much for entirely new carburetors?

A 1970 Z car approaches $30 grand!
What I think is that rather than jacking an two old thread to put out a feeler for what your car might be worth, you should have created your own thread. That and the fact that this is your first post here, makes you come off looking like an interloper whose sole purpose here would be to sell you car. JMO.

How to identify bad alternator
I never had a problem with the main wire on my 78 in the 12 years I owned it and I'm sure it was original so it held up fine for at least 31 years that I know of.......

40th Anniversary Z
As opposed to the retooled 2nd generation Falcon that it originally was?
-
40th Anniversary Z
But the Mustang II looked a lot more like the original Mustang than the Third Gen did.
-
Leaky fuel injector
Yes they're interchangable.
-
40th Anniversary Z
I don't know. The 79-93 Fox Body (Third Gen) kind of stretches that theory........

40th Anniversary Z
That's how I feel about my GTO. I'm glad they didn't try to make it look like a caricature of the 1960s-70s GTO. I wouldn't have been interested in it.

When is it time?
I have a 2005 Pontiac GTO. Lots of fun to drive but a sports car it's not.

When is it time?
Until last year, I had owned a Datsun of one type or another since 1970. The hurt gets easier to deal with but it never really goes away.
-
When is it time?
I did that with three of mine last year.

Fiberglass vs. metal fenders
They're discussing fenders, not flares.......

Post your shaved bumpers
I recall that you were looking for a Z. So, you found one?

Forgive me: 260-280z fender swap?
I knew it was something like that. I didn't know the exact year of the change but I knew a 74 door won't work on a 77.

a/c drain hose help
Some hardware stores carry that type of hose. I don't recall the size but some years ago, I bought some from ACE hardware when I redid my AC.
