Well im thinking of doing a kind of vintage race car look, and i wanna do it like someone would build a performance car back in 1972, you know twice pipes, triple wbers and such, and well im looking for some wheels that were around in that period that would fit it, prefferably in black. Ok i'm looking for a vintage momo steering wheel, and im wanting a solid wood rim with aluminum(metal) spokes. I know they made them because i see them alot but i cant seem to find them. Can anynoe tell me where i can find them?

well i think the issue with the clearence because the intake goes over top of the motor(i think) but somewhere i have heard that there is a different manifold that you can use but go figure wow 510 on the internals hes pushing it if it is an rb25 the main reason beside as you said capacity for the rb26detts strength is the fact that it is actually nissans race motor, obviously tuned down but still with massive components wow if you know where the rb25det after market parts pm me and tell me i cant find any... seriously man that might chang my mind a lil on my swap

main reason most people go for the rb26dett is because this is nissans race motor her eis a comparison rb26 rb25 can be built to 600hp only to 400hp on stock internals listed but more than 280hp only 250hp 9000 grand redline i think dont hold me 8000grand more aftermarket parts less aftermarket expensive about mid priced no bonnet clearence issue bonnet clearence issue there are a lil more to but in my opinion the rb26dett is worth the extra money unless you are on a strict budget in that case by all means go for the rb25det

what you need to do is buy an s13 silvia sr20det with transmission and uncut harness and ecu now being the lowest horspower sr20det it is the cheapest (at least in rwd application) but on a 240sx using stock exhaust stock intercooler and turbo everything stock with one of these motors can deliver 250rwhp at 15 psi (15 psi is the top "safe" amount of boost to use on them) if you want more power upgrade to a targer turbo(maybe a t56 or an s15 t28) from the t25 thats on it upgrade your intercooler to supply that with cold air updrage to higher fuel injectors(just in a ballpark equation for every 1 cc of fuel you can flow that is one horsepower you can safely provide so if you had 550cc injectors you could safely run 550hp with those injectors upgrade to a 60mm throttle body fuel rails 3 inch exhaust cold air intake you would have a fun z
